Dozens arrested in Polish gay rights march AFP Sunday, November 20, 2005 WARSAW, (AFP) - Police arrested dozens of people during an unauthorisied march for homosexual rights in eastern Poland, organisers said yesterday. "The police blocked the march, then proceeded to make arrests in a violent fashion," a march orgnaiser Iza Kowalczyk, told AFP by telephone. "Several dozen people were arrested," during the protest at Poznan, she said.
