Former President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to pay a visit to Luzerne County next week. The 86-year-old native of Plains, Georgia and his wife Rosalyn will be the guests of honor at an auction in Plains Township, Pennsylvania. The Cook and Cook Auction House in Plains Township is filled with all sorts of rare and unique items donated by former President Jimmy Carter and his family.
