“We made them up out of thin air.”
Oh, he may have said them. But under what context, situation, and who he was talking to... Sometimes not telling the whole story is just as much a lie.
“”Police arrested five people from the residence and charged them with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, injury to elderly or disabled, and unlawful restraint.””
Arrested and I hope locked up in five different cells and the keys to each have been lost!! Can their punishment be the same as they carried out on the poor woman? Did she not have family?
We’re probably all assuming because it’s TX, they are from Mexico and I would say possibly but could be from ANY of the Central American countries.
Why are we learning about this 12 days after? Doesn’t our news media have to tell us about these things? I remember when I was a kid living in Germany in the 60’s reading about a 10 year old girl being pregnant. I don’t know where or anything else about that story but I remember the headline. In those days some things were newsworthy no matter where they took place. This story is very unusual on the grand scheme but it is possibly being ignored because either it perpetuates a stereotype that “they” don’t want perpetuated, or things like this are so common that they just can’t cover them all.
