Suffering and tribulations now, all of which carries great eternal reward (James 1:2-4; 1 Peter 5:10), will not prevent "the great catching up" of the church (AKA the "rapture") soon (and "suddenly') to happen. Those who suffer in Christ now reap a great reward and are certainly not under God's wrath. God loves those who are his own in Christ.
the "rapture"
[W]e which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.1 Thessalonians 4:17
pre-trib
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 1:10.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ 1 Thessalonians 5:9
Again, I repeat myself...
It helps to understand that the seven-year "tribulation" AKA Daniel's 70th Week (Daniel 9:27) is a time of God's wrath and judgment upon the earth on those who have refused Christ and his free gift of salvation.
In Revelation, the seven-year tribulation goes from Chapter 6 through Chapter 19. The word "wrath" [of God or of the Lamb] is mentioned 12 times. It is a time of God's wrath upon the earth on the ungodly, not for his beloved saints who he loves.
