The thinking on the left has become very sad in that not only does it no longer engage in ideas, it precludes the possibility of ideas as it falls to the two tactics that it enjoys and utilizes the most, ridiculing and caricatures. Many an article has been written about how all the late night hosts, and comedy shows "conveniently" cannot find anything about President Barack Obama that is funny. They will include him in a skit or comic, but he is the comedian and others are his foils.

Yesterday our Democratic lawmakers in the US House decided they were due for a break. With abysmal approval numbers and a “pro-US energy” bill looming, Nancy Pelosi decided it was just time to go.
