American public support for the Biden administration’s “as long as it takes” policy on aiding Ukraine is collapsing, according to a new Gallup poll. The poll, released Thursday, showed that a plurality of Americans — 41 percent — say that the U.S. is doing too much to help Ukraine. That is a dramatic rise from just 29 percent in June 2023 and 24 percent in August 2022. In addition, fewer — 33 percent now versus 43 percent in June — say the U.S. is doing the right amount, and only 25 percent say the U.S. is not doing enough.

More than half of adults in the United States are fearful for what is to come in 2022, according to a recent Axios/Momentive poll. The poll showed that more than half (51 percent) of the respondents said they are fearful for what will happen to the country next year, in 2022, compared to the 48 percent who say they are more hopeful.

Hillary won a plurality, nothing more, but lost the election. That's the way it is. I am quite fascinated with the obsession the Left currently has with the popular vote for President. As usual this is a matter of expediency, desperation to get their own way given the results of the election, and the usual public deception for how our system actually works. There certainly isn’t a shred of principle involved. So let’s investigate this a bit. We are a Republic, thank God, not a Democracy, so the popular vote is irrelevant to presidential elections. It simply doesn’t matter, it...

Donald Trump and his backers want to redefine mathematics, and have the GOP nomination handed to him with a plurality of delegates, rather than a majority, being sufficient... The Republican party has held 39 national conventions since its first in 1856. At each and every one, a majority of delegates was needed for someone to get the nomination...

The numbers are startling. ......Given all of the above, advocates of a third party — or at the very least another viable option in the 2012 presidential race — seem to be sprouting up all over. [snip] The two most prominent are Americans Elect, a group aimed at winning ballot access for an eventual third-party candidate, and No Labels, an organization filled with high-profile names — including former George W. Bush media consultant Mark McKinnon and former Kentucky state treasurer Jonathan Miller — designed as an online home for the politically disaffected. “If you build it (ballot access), they (candidates...

Senator John Kerry, Senator Tom Daschle, and Senator Ted Kennedy have some important things in common. They profess to be Roman Catholics but are STRONGLY supportive of abortion. However, there is a group trying to educate Catholics that voting for Pro-Abortion candidates are wrong. This is Priests for Life. If you look at their webpage, it becomes clear they are trying to get Catholics to vote as Faithful Christians and Faithful Citizens -- the above is a bulletin insert they have to explain the wrongs of voting for Pro-Abortion candidates. The Priests for Life Website is:Priests for Life WebPage For...
