It’s where Biden got most of his often-exaggerated experience with the civil rights movement, letting little black children amuse themselves with his leg hair: “I got hairy legs that turn blonde in the sun and the kids used to reach in the pool and rub my leg down and watch the hair come back up again,” he told a crowd that same day.
