  • Jerusalem - IslamsThird Holiest Site - Hogwash!

    06/18/2006 7:13:25 AM PDT · by jihadiallawadi · 15 replies · 583+ views
The al-Aksa mosque is mistakenly called, “Omar’s mosque” after the first Caliph of Jerusalem who captured the city in 638CE. This religious shrine was a hoax-gone-bad for Caliph Abd al-Wahd (705-715 CE). Wahd actually completed construction and named it al-Aksa so that it would sound like the one mentioned in the Koran. Wahd desired to draw prayer and, more importantly, attention to the place where he was then ruler, Jerusalem. This attempt failed since Mohammed had a stern restriction regarding Jerusalem. The site fell into disrepair and, up until this century, no Islamic monarch deemed the Dome or the mosque...

The Overwhelming wrong "Palestinians"A terrible majority & mainstreamI do try to be tolerant to everyone, frankly, their 70% support for genocide does not help me. The entire "Palestinian" society is a sick system, from the indoctrination to the death cult (recruiting to or glorifying mass murderers as "martyrs") to their mainstream media to their mainstream schools/Mosques, etc. Suffice to say, Watch a normal Israeli TV program VS a "normal" 'Palestinian' one, an all out warning if you attempt to listen to their Friday sermons from the mosques. http://pmw.org.il http://memritv.org/Search.asp?ACT=S5&P1=64No, the problem is not just with a "fringe" group, or just...

By IBRAHIM BARZAK, Associated Press Writer Wed Sep 7, 3:02 PM ET GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas vowed to hunt down the killers of a powerful former security chief whose gangland-style slaying Wednesday laid bare Gaza's raging power struggles just days before Israel hands over control of the coastal territory. ADVERTISEMENT In a brazen challenge to Abbas, a shadowy militant group claimed responsibility for killing Moussa Arafat, cousin of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, in a burst of gunfire. Adding to the tension, the Israeli military said the vital Rafah crossing point between Gaza and...

JERUSALEM (AP) - The Greek Orthodox Church is investigating the reported sale of sensitive Jerusalem property to Jewish organizations, a church official said Sunday, as Palestinian Christians staged a protest. The reported sale has sparked an uproar among Palestinian followers of the church, who accuse the Greek leadership of betraying the Palestinian cause. Dozens of faithful held a demonstration Sunday, calling Patriarch Eireneos a "collaborator" and demanding his resignation. Palestinian church leaders have also demanded that he step down. The controversy erupted after the Israeli daily Maariv reported Friday that the church had sold properties in the predominantly Arab sector...

May. 29, 2003 US raids Palestinian mission in Baghdad By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Baghdad US troops raided the Palestinian Authority's mission in Baghdad and arrested 11 members including its top diplomat after ransacking the building, Palestinian officials said Thursday. A top US general said only eight people had been arrested. "They even took all of our water bottles and food cans," said Mohamed Abdul Wahab, a mission official. "They behaved like common thieves." Although US troops have conducted numerous sweeps against suspected criminals and loyalists of Saddam Hussein's regime, Wednesday's raid was the first such action against a foreign diplomatic...

HonestReporting Communique 24 April 2003 "ABU MAZEN: COUP FOR PEACE?" * * * Dear HonestReporting Member, Under heavy international pressure, Yasser Arafat has agreed to a compromise with prime minister Mahmoud Abbas (a.k.a. Abu Mazen) on the constitution of a proposed Palestinian Cabinet. Abu Mazen insisted upon the inclusion of Muhammad Dahlan as a minister in a key internal security post, an appointment Arafat initially opposed. Arafat backed down, and now the Cabinet faces a critical upcoming confirmation vote in the Palestinian Legislative Council. One top PA official went so far to call the Abu Mazen achievement "a silent coup"...

Background: Abu Mazen may enjoy carte blanche thanks to appointment dramaAaron Lerner Date: 23 April 2003 While there were already serious concerns in Israel that Abu Mazen would enjoy an "automatic pass" policy from the Quartet, the drama surrounding the formation of his government has created an atmosphere that will make it extremely difficult for Israel to overcome the "automatic pass policy". Under the "automatic pass" policy (the policy followed by the United States during the Clinton Administration) the Palestinian Authority is judged as being in compliance with its obligations regardless of what it actually does. Declarations and photo opportunities,...

  • Palestinians Fighting in Iraq

    MSNBC (Chris Matthews)
I am watching Chris Matthews on MSNBC. He has on an Iraqi-born American whose brother is a marine in Baghdad. He said that his brother is telling him that most of the fighters in Baghdad are not Iraqis, but are mostly Egyptians, Syrians and Palestinian arabs! It seems to me that when Ceaucescu was overthrown in Romania, it was also the Palestinians who were fighting to defend the old, dictatorial regime. I always knew that the Palestinians have been exporting terror. I am starting to understand just how literally to take this.

Apr. 10, 2003 'No place in new Iraq for Palestinians' By DOUGLAS DAVIS There will be strong ties with Israel but no place for Palestinians in the new Iraq, a leading member of the Iraqi National Congress (INC) told me late Wednesday night. The Washington-backed organization, a secular, democratic umbrella for Iraq's Shi'ite, Sunni, and Kurdish communities, is committed to a unitary state, with a large measure of autonomy for what they envisage will be three federal components. Until recently, the vigorously pro-Western movement was based in London. Now most of its leaders have relocated to various parts of Iraq,...

Baghdad - The request for candy seemed innocent enough, but as the children approached the marines on patrol in Baghdad, Iraqi forces drove up and unleashed a salvo of rocket-propelled grenades. The ensuing five-hour firefight left nine marines wounded, including one who was shot in the head and remains in a critical condition. Staff Sergeant Brian Ivers said the experience on Wednesday, shortly after the marines' arrival in the Iraqi capital, had rammed home the dangers of being lulled into a false sense of security. Ivers said it appeared that the group of youngsters had been deliberately set up as...

There was shock and disbelief in the West Bank and Gaza Strip Wednesday as Palestinians gathered around TV sets to watch US Marines and Iraqi residents knock down a giant statute of Saddam Hussein in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad. "I'm stunned and appalled. I can't understand what is happening," said Rustum Abu Ghazalah, a 30-year-old shopkeeper in the center of Ramallah. He and grim-faced fellow shopkeepers zapped from one Arab TV station to another with the hope of discovering that what they were hearing and watching was nothing more than a US-produced Hollywood film. "This can't be true," grumbled...
