Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) became the first Republican congressman to accuse President Donald Trump of engaging in “impeachable conduct,” citing findings laid out in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on now-debunked collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman and Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot upon the Prime Minister’s return from a state visit to Russia, Wednesday night, to discuss Israel’s response to the terror attack in Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market which left four dead and five wounded. In the wake of the attack, the Defense Ministry has frozen work entry visas for some 204 members of the attackers’ extended family. The attackers, identified as Khalid and Muhammad Musa Mehamara, both 21-years old, are cousins from the village of Yatta, south of Hevron. The two terrorists reportedly entered Israel...

Security forces say that they arrested three Palestinians who crossed the fence bordering Gaza this morning (Saturday), under the cover of heavy fog. An early investigation found that the three did not intend to perpetrate and attack on Israelis. They told their interrogators that they were escaping the Gaza Strip due to the difficult situation prevailing there. Earlier this morning, a state of emergency was declared in several communities in the Eshkol region due to reports of the infiltrators. .....

The Washington Post's reporting brought down Richard Nixon. On Sunday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin wondered if it could do the same to President Barack Obama regarding his lawlessness on illegal immigration. Palin, who called for Obama to be impeached on the pages of Breitbart News, demanded in a Facebook post that Congress get answers to two questions: "What did the President know and when did he know it?" Palin mentioned that the Washington Post had a blockbuster piece on Saturday about how “top officials at the White House and the State Department had repeatedly been warned of the potential...

On the eve of his first trip to the United States as Egypt’s new Islamist president, Mohammed Morsi said the United States needed to fundamentally change its approach to the Arab world, showing greater respect for its values and helping build a Palestinian state, if it hoped to overcome decades of pent-up anger. In a 90-minute interview with The New York Times on Saturday, Morsi said it was up to Washington to repair relations with the Arab world and to revitalize the alliance with Egypt, long a cornerstone of regional stability. If Washington is asking Egypt to honor its treaty...

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told EU counterpart Catherine Ashton on Friday a unilateral declaration of statehood by the Palestinian Authority the Oslo Accords are void. The 1993 Olso Accords, which stipulate a bilateral framework and proscribe unilateral moves, serve as the basis for economic, infrastructure, and security cooperation between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. "A move like that will be a violation of all the agreements that were signed until today. Israel will no longer be committed to the agreements signed with the Palestinians in the past 18 years," Lieberman said. "In light of Abbas's current stance, the chances for...

In the span of a single news cycle, Republicans got a jarring reminder of two forces that could prevent them from retaking the presidency in next year. At sunrise in the East on Wednesday, Sarah Palin demonstrated that she has little interest — or capacity — in moving beyond her brand of grievance-based politics. And at sundown in the West, Barack Obama reminded even his critics of his ability to rally disparate Americans around a message of reconciliation. Palin was defiant, making the case in a taped speech she posted online why the nation’s heated political debate should continue unabated...

Yesterday, on Sunday, September 19, 2010, the Obama family attended church for only the third time in a year. They went on foot to the St. John’s Episcopal Church situated across the Lafayette Park. But what is widely not reported by the White House and the MSM is that on that particular Sunday in that particular church, Dr. Ziad Asali, M.D., a Muslim, founder and president of the American Task Force on Palestine, was the guest speaker. He was there to speak on the subject of “Prospects of the two-state solution in the Middle-East.” According to the website of the...

As Americans spend the next few weeks discussing health care reform, I thought it might be helpful to share some articles (and one panel discussion video) that I’ve found especially insightful. Washington Post editorial, July 26, 2009 “The Health-Care Sacrifice: What President Obama needs to tell the public about the cost of reform” But Mr. Obama's soothing bedside manner masks the reality that getting health costs under control will require making difficult choices about what procedures and medications to cover. It will require saying no, or having the patient pay more, at times when the extra expense is not justified...
