Mass Terror Attack Near Hadera
Massive murderous Palestinian terrorism returned to Israel this afternoon when a carbomb exploded just behind a public bus on the Hadera-Afula highway. Eight people are known to be dead, but that number is expected to climb when more accurate reports are received. The bus, which departed from Kiryat Shmonah around 3 PM on its way to Tel Aviv, went up in flames as a result of the explosion. Fragments were splattered over a large radius from the point of the bombing. A reporter on the scene said she could see "nothing left of the explosives-filled car."
Tourism Minister Yitzchak Levy (NRP) said late this afternoon, "We apparently thought that the war with the Arabs was over and that we could afford to fight among ourselves - and then came this attack and reminded us where we really are."
