PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. – An Wisconsin judge on Friday ordered the state to remove hundreds of thousands of people from Wisconsin's voter rolls because they may have moved. The case is being closely watched because of the state's critical role in next year's presidential race. Ozaukee County Judge Paul Malloy also denied the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin's petition to intervene. Lawyers for the League and for the Wisconsin Elections Commission indicated they will appeal and asked Malloy to stay his ruling pending those appeals, but he declined. *SNIP* Before Friday's hearing, Democrat state Attorney General Josh Kaul said...

The 7-foot-long weenie was lying unused in a backroom at the Milwaukee Curling Club's new Cedarburg location during a fundraiser on Feb. 16 with beer-tasting and curling, and a witness saw the sausage walk out of the south door about 7:45 p.m., Cedarburg police Detective Jeff Vahsholtz said Wednesday. The Italian walked into TJ Ryan's in Cedarburg an hour later and...

Mequon - Voters overwhelmingly rejected a referendum Tuesday that would have raised taxes in the Mequon-Thiensville School District by $2.5 million for each of the next three years. Fifty-seven percent of those who cast votes opposed the measure, which sparked one of the highest turnouts - 37% - among Tuesday's primaries in the metro area,3 according to unofficial results. Officials had said the referendum was necessary to offset a $6.5 million budget shortfall the district faces in the next three years. It would also have funded $1 million in technology upgrades and maintenance repairs. "It's a simple yes or no...
