Judge orders 234,000 purged from Wisconsin voter rolls

PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. – An Wisconsin judge on Friday ordered the state to remove hundreds of thousands of people from Wisconsin's voter rolls because they may have moved.

The case is being closely watched because of the state's critical role in next year's presidential race. Ozaukee County Judge Paul Malloy also denied the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin's petition to intervene.

Lawyers for the League and for the Wisconsin Elections Commission indicated they will appeal and asked Malloy to stay his ruling pending those appeals, but he declined.

Before Friday's hearing, Democrat state Attorney General Josh Kaul said in an interview that quickly removing voters from the rolls would cause "clear harm to Wisconsin voters." That's because some people who haven't moved would likely lose their ability to vote, at least for the time being.

"Any time people have to go through extra steps to vote, and certainly re-registering is a significant additional step, the result is that fewer people end up voting," he said. "Fewer people will be registered. A number of people will have to re-register."

But (Judge) Malloy went further than issuing an injunction. In granting a writ of mandamus – essentially a court order that a government official or agency do its job – he said he was convinced the commission had a clear, positive, plain legal duty to purge the voter rolls within 30 days.

This is good news! This needs to be done nationwide!
We MOVED this past year and have had to re-register! You do so for your Driver’s License so why not voter registration.

Hmmmm... Let me fix this to what he REALLY meant:

Before Friday's hearing, Democrat state Attorney General Josh Kaul said in an interview that quickly removing voters from the rolls would cause "clear harm to Wisconsin voters democrats." That's because some people who haven't moved {out of the state} would likely lose their ability to {have democrats} vote {for them}, at least for the time being.

"Any time people {party operatives} have to go through extra steps to {create democrat} votes and certainly re-registering is a significant additional step, , the result is that fewer people end up voting {for democrats}," he said. "Fewer people will be registered {democrats}. A number of people will have to re-register. We could lose."

Why is it ALWAYS democrats who complain about purging voter rolls of people who have moved or are dead or are illegal?

This is just a rhetorical question, since we know the obvious answer.

This is a feature, not a bug. If you care enough about the country, you will take the time and effort to register. If you are apathetic, you won't.

Of course, the real issue here is that those extra names on the voter rolls, combined with lack of any ID requirement, greatly facilitates vote fraud. The left can just send buses of "voters" to each precinct to check who has not yet voted, and "vote" on their behalf. This is one reason why elections that favored the Republican suddenly turn to the DemocRAT late in the day. This is also why leftist judges do not want any measures taken to ensure election integrity.

There are several things about all this that don’t make sense. Every voter has to register and whether or not they actually voted is known. Why has the Federal Government failed to prosecute every single illegal alien who voted? We have the technology.

Any time people have to go through extra steps to vote,(Like being alive) and certainly re-registering is a significant additional step, the result is that fewer (dead) people end up voting (Democrat),

Just call it a “common sense” step for elections. Maybe add universal background checks (to make sure someone is alive, living at the residence they are registered at, who they claim that they are, not disqualified from voting, only voting once, and not making a “straw purchase” vote for someone else)

“Any time people have to go through extra steps to vote, and certainly re-registering is a significant additional step, the result is that fewer people end up voting,” he said. “Fewer people will be registered. A number of people will have to re-register.” Wow,perhaps the illegal aliens can be rounded up by ICE so that they can register to vote, and the morticians can get votes at the cemeteries...How inconvenient.

This is so unfair, because the dead can’t re-register!
