California Sen. Kamala Harris is suspending her campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, Fox News has learned. The Democratic senator informed her staff of the decision on Tuesday.

One gunman went to two employees at the counter while the other directed his attention to the customer, a local businessman on his way home, police said. The customer put up his hands, but the robber knocked him to the ground and hit him with his handgun. The customer then pulled his registered Glock pistol and fired when the gunman turned around with his weapon pointed at the customer, police said. He then fired at the second bandit.

A former associate of Edgar Valdez-Villarreal, "La Barbie," is killed in a Nuevo Laredo prison. An inmate in a Nuevo Laredo prison stabbed Jose Luis Carrizales-Coronado to death. Authorities say a federal judge released Coronado from a prison in Monterrey on Monday claiming a lack of evidence in a case. He came back to Nuevo Laredo and was arrested for previous murder charges. Officials say he started a fight with other inmates in the bathroom, where they beat and stabbed him. According to Mexican authorities, Coronado was an associate of Edgar Valdez-Villarreal back in 2003.

Israeli forces killed an Islamic Jihad commander in the West Bank on Wednesday, the Palestinian group said, a day after Israeli police announced they foiled a planned suicide bombing in Tel Aviv. Islamic Jihad identified the victim as Mahmoud Abu al-Jahim, its commander in the northern West Bank.

Gary Condit, was arrested Sunday for failing to appear in court in November to face a charge of possessing a fraudulent driver's license. The FBI issued the warrant for his arrest last week.
