Two women have been indicted on hate crime charges after grabbing a 7-year-old boy’s “Make America Great Again” cap in front of his mother outside the Democratic National Convention in Delaware. Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy, both 21, were indicted by a grand jury Tuesday on felony charges of robbery, conspiracy and hate crimes, as well as a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child. Amy also was indicted on misdemeanor charges of assaulting a man who tried to recover the cap, attempting to assault the boy’s mom and offensive touching of the child.

Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy, both 21, were indicted by a grand jury on charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, offensive touching and felony hate crimes, Delaware Online reported. Three of the charges are felonies, and the two women could spend a total of 15 years in prison, according to Delaware Online.

Wilmington Police have arrested a 21-year-old woman in connection with an offensive touching and robbery investigation, police said Saturday. Officials said on August 20 at approximately 8:08 p.m., police were dispatched to the 600 block of South Justison Street in reference to an offensive touching incident involving a juvenile victim. An investigation determined that the incident involved a robbery with two female suspects, according to police.
