On Wednesday night, Virgil Bernero, the mayor of sanctuary city Lansing, Michigan, told Tucker Carlson that if his police force were to enforce immigration laws, it would be seen as an “occupying force.” An incredulous Tucker responded, “people come into your country illegally, your job is to enforce the laws as a police officer, and you somehow feel guilty because you’re an occupying force?” Bernero then played the white privilege card, “it’s easy for white men like us . . . who enjoy what we enjoy . . . ” View the video here.

...On Friday, Rush read an essay by a professor emeritus from University of Illinois...the essay stated that Obama's administration acted more like an 'occupying force' from outside the U.S....their cultural and political values are foreign to most Americans. ...did anybody catch that and book mark the article? Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich called on House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Wednesday afternoon to change her rebuttal to tonight's State of the Union Address, saying the language she intends to use referring to U.S. troops in Iraq as "an occupying force" is "outrageous." "I hope before she says it tonight that she will withdraw that phrase and does not use it tonight," Gingrich told radio host Sean Hannity. "That's like describing American forces in Germany during the Cold War as an occupying force instead of a force that was protecting the German people from the Soviet Union."...
