“I studied the Koran a great deal … I came away from that study with the conviction that by and large there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad.” — Alexis de TocquevilleDespite the terrible massacre of October 7, many politicians in the West continue to talk about Islam as a “religion of peace.” Respected professors, journalists, columnists, philosophers from Paris to San Francisco share this view. They really want to believe in it; otherwise, the claim that true evil comes from the West only, and the Islamic movement is no more...

I totally disagree with the Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, in that the Police Officer “Thug,” who has had a very checkered past to begin with, was not just “doing his job” when he shot and killed Great Patriot Ashli Babbitt at point blank range. Despite trying to keep him anonymous, shielded, and protected, this MISFIT proudly showed up on NBC Fake Nightly News “bragging” about the killing. He was not a hero but a COWARD, who wanted to show how tough he was. ASHLI BABBITT WAS MURDERED!!!

For more than seven months, the U.S. Capitol Police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed protester climbing through a broken window in a hallway of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, has remained anonymous. Though his name was known to U.S. Capitol Police, congressional staffers and federal investigations, no one would divulge it. The secrecy fueled months of online speculation. Babbitt's family alleged a coverup.... ..."The U.S. Congress wants to protect this man. He's got friends in high places and they want to protect him," said Maryland attorney Terry Roberts, who represents the family....Roberts told Zenger Wednesday...

A man who engaged in non-violent protest at the Capitol on January 6 was sentenced to eight months in prison for obstructing an official proceeding, while hundreds charged in violent riots last summer have seen their cases dropped. Paul Allard Hodgkins, 38, of Tampa, Florida, was sentenced Monday after he pleaded guilty to a single felony count of obstructing an official proceeding, after he was identified in videos and photos inside the Senate chamber carrying a Trump 2020 flag. While the count carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, and prosecutors asked for 18 months, Hodgkins — who...
  • There will be no justice in America until the killer of Ashli Babbitt gets the same treatment as Derek Chauvin

During Tucker Carlson's opening monologue last night, he said the promise of our justice system means, "that the cop who killed Ashli Babbitt will be held to the very same scrutiny as the cop who was just convicted of killing George Floyd." Let's expand on that premise. Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd yesterday. Meanwhile, the police officer who killed Ashli Babbitt hasn’t been arrested. It was announced last week that he won’t be charged. In fact, we aren’t even allowed to know his name. This seems to indicate an unambiguous disconnect in the...

UPDATED at 4 p.m. with statement from police union official. ST. LOUIS • St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner will no longer accept criminal cases from 28 city police officers and is reviewing any open cases they handled for “viability.” Gardner delivered the list of officers to the police department Tuesday, calling it an “exclusion list,” according to documents obtained by the Post-Dispatch. A written statement from Gardner said, in part, that prosecutors have “the responsibility to defend the integrity of the criminal justice system. Police officers play an important role in the criminal justice system, and the credibility of...

At yesterday's funeral service for Freddie Gray, Pastor Jamal Bryant ended his eulogy by leading the congregation in a highly-charged chant of "No justice! No peace!" Yet immediately after playing the clip of that moment, Joe Scarborough claimed that the riots that ensued were "something that no one inside that funeral could have ever have wanted." Had Scarborough listened to his own clip? If not, why not? If so, what does he think "no justice, no peace" means? It's true that later in the day, Bryant called for peace in the streets. But by then it was too late. Perhaps...

The City of Pearland, TX completely ignored its own code of ordinances in order to assess a fine against me over an animal I never owned. I proved my case in open court, but my evidence was ignored. I e-mailed Ted Cruz because he purports to be a champion of citizens' rights and principles. I asked for his help, but he couldn't even trouble himself to respond let alone offer any assistance. I guess he only supports individuals who can help fill his campaign coffers. Yessir, your tax dollars at work. Makes me proud to be a Texas conservative voter.

It doesn’t look good for those hoping for criminal charges in the August killing of unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown. Pessimism has started to set in after a series of leaks that supported the story of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who has remained out of public view through the months-long grand jury process. With an official decision expected soon, possibly in a matter of days, the city of Ferguson is bracing for impact, both by hosting discussions with protest groups and stocking up on new riot gear. “I think you have to prepare for the worst, but I think we...

DALLAS -- A group of protesters gathered outside Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas for a silent protest Thursday. The group said its mission was, in part, to demand justice for Dallas' first Ebola patient, Thomas Eric Duncan. About 20 people, dressed in red and black clothing, attended the protest on the front lawn of the hospital. The group said there are simply too many questions when it comes to the care that led up to Duncan's death on Oct. 8th.

Defense attorney Don West questions Rachel Jeantel during George Zimmerman's trial in Sanford, Fla., June 27, 2013.Trayvon Martin’s trial might be intriguing, fascinating cultural theater to some. To me, it is more akin to a cultural trauma: a continual reminder of how unsafe all those young black men that I love actually are as they move through the world — and how tenuous and torturous it would be to seek justice on their behalf. Troubled, though, by the negative characterizations of Trayvon Martin’s friend Rachel Jeantel, after her first day of testimony, I tuned in yesterday in a show of...

MIAMI, Dec. 15 -- Executions by lethal injection were suspended in Florida and ordered revamped in California on Friday, as the chemical method once billed as a more humane way of killing the condemned came under mounting scrutiny over the pain it may cause. Gov. Jeb Bush (R) ordered the suspension in Florida after a botched execution in which it took 34 minutes and a second injection to kill convicted murderer Angel Nieves Diaz. A state medical examiner said that needles used to carry the poison had passed through the prisoner's veins and delivered the three-chemical mix into the tissues...

Fighting For Justice For Slain Officer Faulkner (CBS 3) PHILADELPHIA Twenty five years ago Saturday, Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner was murdered on a Center City street. On Friday, his widow and 500 supporters are vowing to keep his convicted killer behind bars. At the same time, those who support Mumia Abu-Jamal say he was unjustly convicted. 25 years after Officer Daniel Faulkner was murdered, friends hugged and comforted his widow, much the way they did that freezing December morning in 1981 when he was gunned down near 13th and Locust streets. For Maureen Faulkner, so much, yet so little...
