A crusade (of sorts) is moving across Facebook. It is targeting pages that are critical of Mormonism. Who the crusaders are is unknown, but it seems reasonable to suggest that they may be Latter-day Saints. The crusade is aimed at silencing those who disagree with Mormonism. <p>November 23 A new poll suggests that Mitt Romney's faith could play a role in the 2012 Republican nominating race, with a sizable portion of respondents saying they believe that Mormonism is a non-Christian faith.</p> <p>The survey from the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, conducted earlier this month, showed Romney the slight favorite among the Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters surveyed. He edged Herman Cain, 23% to 22%, with Newt Gingrich at 16%.</p>

An email sent out to the Crystal Cathedral's congregation requested meals for founder Robert Schuller's wife, Arvella, who is sick with pneumonia. Crystal Cathderal Ministries, a glass-walled Orange County church known for its "Hour of Power" broadcasts, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Oct. 18. The Schullers, church administrators, have come under fire after court documents revealed they may have taken nearly $10 million from the church's endowment funds. In addition to his own pioneer roots (i.e. Parley P. Pratt, Miles P. Romney, Eyrings, his father) Mitt Romney has certainly established his own deep LDS roots. He served a full-time mission, graduated from BYU, married in a LDS temple and served as a Bishop.
