Gov. Rendell holds a lopsided lead over Republican challenger Lynn Swann among black voters, according to an independent poll released yesterday. The Democratic incumbent continues to hold a double-digit lead among 1,354 registered voters, who favored him over the Pro Football Hall-of-Famer 47 percent to 37 percent, the Quinnipiac University poll found. Among a smaller sample of 451 black voters, 74 percent supported Rendell, who is white.
