<p>June 13 (Bloomberg) -- United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan said an international peace force is needed to serve as a buffer between Israelis and Palestinians, the Israeli daily newspaper Ha'aretz reported.</p>
<p>Israel and the Palestinians seem unable to agree on their own to end fighting, Annan said in an interview with the newspaper. An international force is needed to calm both sides and allow peace talks to begin, he said.</p>
