Far-left Democrat Cori Bush appears to have lost her bid for re-election in Missouri’s First Congressional district by a landslide. While full results from the race are yet to be counted, it is already clear that Bush will not be returning to Congress next year. Cori Bush has LOST her primary in St. Louis. She is officially a LOSER! pic.twitter.com/DDjPedBfOe — Joey Mannarino (@JoeyMannarinoUS) August 7, 2024 With almost 20% report, incumbent Squad member Cori Bush is down more than 30% in her primary against pro-Israel Democrat Wesley Bell. Bush would join Jamaal Bowman as incumbents from The Squad to...

Missouri's secretary of state Jason Kander officially declared Tuesday that Donald Trump won a narrow victory over Ted Cruz and will win the state's 12 at-large delegates. The final tally found Trump edging out Cruz 40.8%-40.6%, or by fewer than 2,000 votes in the March 15 primary. The additional 12 delegates give Trump an important boost after he was swept by Cruz in Colorado over the weekend at the Colorado Republican convention. The additional delegates bring Trump slightly closer to the 1,237 needed to secure the nomination. By CNN's estimates, Trump now has 758 delegates, Cruz has 538, Marco Rubio...

With vote counting in Missouri completed for Tuesday night, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump lead their respective party primaries there by less than half a percentage point. Since the margin of victory in each case is less than 1 percentage point, CNN will not project a winner in either contest. Stephanie Fleming, a spokeswoman for the Missouri secretary of state's office, told CNN that 100% of precincts have reported, but some absentee and provisional ballots remain uncounted. These ballots will be counted in the coming days. Overseas absentee ballots will be accepted until Friday at noon. The secretary of state's...
  • Raucous GOP caucus in Missouri is shut down

Because St. Louis County’s caucuses were divided into 28 township meetings, St. Charles County was slated to assign more delegates than any other single location on Saturday. Jackson County, which includes Kansas City, has more delegates, but, like St. Louis city, asked to hold its caucuses on March 24, so as to avoid a conflict with St. Patrick’s Day. The caucus in St. Charles County, which was held at Francis Howell North High in St. Peters, was adjourned after police said they were going to “shut us down,” according to Matt Ehlen, the Republican activist who was named chairman of...

March 18, 2012. St. Louis. It’s midnight Missouri time and there is still no sign of any winner in the Missouri Caucus. In fact, there are no vote totals, news reports or even a Missouri Republican Party Caucus website. It was there earlier. Now, it simply says, the page doesn’t exit. News accounts from earlier in the day before the media black-out detailed near riots from one caucus site to the other as Ron Paul supporters battled the state GOP leadership. Some of the highlights of news accounts coming in from Missouri include the arrests of two Ron Paul caucus...

Police and organizers shut down proceedings at one of Missouri’s largest caucuses today, as Ron Paul supporters feuded with local GOP leaders.“It’s like the Hatfields and the McCoys around here,” St. Charles County’s former GOP chairman told ABC News, after police arrived on-scene with a helicopter and removed Paul backers. In St. Charles, an exurb of St. Louis and one of the state’s largest GOP counties, Paul supporters sought to elect their own chairman and adopt their own rules when proceedings opened — both of which are part of standard caucus rules and procedure. But as they argued with the caucus...
