We live in Spain and yesterday we decided to spend the night in Malaga, about an hour from our house, so we watch their Christmas light displays. Besides the usual electric Christmas trees They have one large section of a neighborhood made up to look like a Cathedral. It's huge. Unlike the USA, Spaniards aren't afraid to put religious symbols on public property. The inside of the street cathedral had "stained glass windows" with nativity scenes. Even the traffic roundabouts have Nativity scenes in the middle. This is all through the town, which is why you can make a night...

Johnson vows to weed out loser cases, prosecute the assaultive Waco – Which lever do you pull, which button to push when it comes to ridding a jurisdiction of a DA bent on criminally negligent practice? Barry Johnson, a hometown barrister Texas “Monthly” labeled one of the state’s “super lawyers,” says he’s willing to answer the question, but it will take time, thought, intensive study. After all, the situation is very rare. But he’s got news for the motorcycle enthusiasts targeted by the Twin Peaks prosecutors and their boss, elected DA Abel Reyna. “If elected, job one will be to...

acebook is getting rid of its fake news red flags because they were making fabricated media reports appear more believable to its users. The social network began showing "disputed" warnings next to articles in December to alert people that third party fact-checking websites deemed them misleading. It will now show a selection of “related articles” next to offending stories instead. These will give more context and could help people learn the facts surrounding a situation through reputable media publications. The U-turn was prompted by research suggesting users would actually believe fake news even if it was flagged as incorrect or...

The judge named for a court of inquiry sought by an attorney for a biker charged in the Twin Peaks shootout on the merits of an accusation of perjury involving police and prosecutors has dismissed the inquiry without ever holding a hearing. “My decision (to dismiss the court of inquiry) rests on two separate and independent bases,” Judge David Peeples said in an email obtained Thursday by KWTX. “First, I conclude that the evidence of perjury is insufficient and does not justify continuing the court of inquiry. Second, I continue to have serious prudential concerns about procedure, as was suggested...

"The only operating rare earth mine in the United States sends all of their valuable resources to China for processing. Congress does not know this. They think this [mining] company is supplying the U.S. value chain, [and] is supplying the military. It is in-fact, the opposite. They are part of the Chinese monopoly. They're taking powder and shipping it to China, and it comes back as a magnet, or an alloy, or a bolt-on component." - Jim Kennedy

Don’t fall for former FBI Director James Comey’s latest tweet claiming that “the FBI is and always will be independent.” In fact, recent reports suggest the FBI now serves as the command center of the Deep State, aptly housed in the J. Edgar Hoover Building. Working hand in hand with the special counsel’s office, the FBI/Deep State is in high gear. Through constant leaks of confidential or embarrassing materials, unmasking classified information about Trump associates, stonewalling Congressional requests for testimony and information about FBI conduct, selective prosecutions, and the coordination and hiring of high-level and deeply-biased partisans, the Deep State...

SIERRA VISTA — The Federal Communications Commission voted to repeal Obama-era regulations that barred internet and broadband providers from restricting websites and online services on Dec. 14. In a 3-2 vote along party lines, the commission subverted net neutrality efforts, now making it possible for service providers to change how customers access online sources. One local educator and internet service provider are questioning the recent decision. The regulations brought on by the Obama administration restricted internet service providers from prioritizing or blocking certain websites or online services from its customers. The goal of net neutrality was to treat all internet...

A married sandwich shop worker claims to have fathered dozens of extraterrestrial babies after bedding an alien in his teens — and has painted all of his raunchy encounters. UFO lover David Huggins claims to have lost his virginity to a busty extraterrestrial called Crescent after walking through a forest when he was just 17. Speaking for a documentary chronicling his bizarre life, he says: “I was walking in the woods and I see a woman sitting under a tree — and she gets up and she starts coming towards me.” “I become very aroused sexually; I couldn’t get my...

Democrats' already wide advantage over Republicans in a hypothetical Congressional matchup has grown, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. At the same time, enthusiasm about voting next year has increased among Democrats nationwide following an unexpected win in Alabama's Senate special election and a strong showing in Virginia's state government elections last month. Among registered voters, 56% say they favor a Democrat in their congressional district, while 38% prefer a Republican. That 18-point edge is the widest Democrats have held in CNN polling on the 2018 contests, and the largest at this point in midterm election cycles...
