Twitter continues to provide unmissable examples of media adoration of Democrats. Female reporters from CBS, CNN, and NBC gushily tweeted on Saturday about picking out an "amazing" jacket for Kamala Harris on the campaign trail. Does anyone think this happened for Michelle Bachman in 2011? Carly Fiorina in 2015? The professional excuse was Harris was touring small businesses in South Carolina. But the fashionistas were purring over a "great," "awesome," "amazing" coat they were "forcing" on the candidate. Here's Caitlin Huey-Burns from CBS:

Remember the case of the Census worker who was found hanging from a tree with the word ‘fed' scrawled across his chest? You remember - he died at the hands of right-wing commentators and anti-government tea partiers. He was killed because of an overwhelming case of right-wing paranoia. He was murdered by Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Bachmann, and Fox News. Keep this quiet though... While the death of Bill Sparkman was a media sensation for pushing anti-conservative sentiments just a couple of months ago, it is receiving little to no coverage currently. Why? Because, as investigators have recently speculated,...

In 2012, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann questioned the wisdom of then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton furnishing her Muslim Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin with all of the sensitive/secret information a reputed Muslim Brotherhood operative could possibly desire. Below is the take of prolific writer Jerry Todd as he describes the contempt heaped upon Bachmann by the Republican Party elite for her “Muslim Insensitivity.” The article first appeared in June of 2012. “Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, R. MN, brought down the wrath of Allah” Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, R. MN, brought down the wrath of Allah on herself for noting the role,...

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R., Minn.) knew the White House Christmas party this week would be her last chance as a member of Congress to speak directly to President Obama. She didn’t waste the opportunity. Despite the objections of her family members, who didn’t want to be embarrassed, Bachmann said she wanted to give some “substantive comments” to the president. She waited until pictures were taken and her family walked off the stage. “I turned to the president and I said, something to the effect of, ‘Mr. President, you need to bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities, because if you don’t, Iran...

It’s hard to determine where the tragedy begins and the travesty ends. It’s a story that has gripped and enraged a nation. It’s a sordid tale of governmental tyranny, child imprisonment and endangerment, harmful and unethical medical experimentation, as well as a number of gross conflicts of interest. This is the story of a child, Justina Pelletier, who faced 16 long months of child abuse and incarceration at the hands of both Massachusetts government officials and callous medical personnel at Boston Children’s Hospital. Thankfully, due to the actions of Liberty Counsel, a Christian civil rights law firm, powerful media voices...

Over the last few days, since Romney clinched the GOP nomination for President by going over the 1,144 committed delegates needed with his win in the Texas Primary on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, a number of new endorsements have come in for Romney's bid for the Presidency. These include George Shultz, former Secretary of State; Condoliza Rice, former Secretrary of State and National Security Advisor; Mike Huckabee, former Governor of Arkansas and presidential candidate; and Nancy Reagan, wife of President Ronald Reagan. Here's what each of them had to say on the date they endorsed Romney: NANCY REAGAN endorses Mitt...

Anyone that has spent time in bear country learns to be on the lookout for momma bears and their cubs and most importantly to never get between the two of them. Often it is a good idea to make a lot of noise when going through these areas to let them know you are nearby, this can avoid very unpleasant confrontations. I used to put a bell on my walking stick so they could hear me. But even with my bell, in the Alaskan bush I would carry a heavy caliber firearm. Many Native American Peoples legends center around bears...

Here’s the official announcement. I don’t get it. We thought the speaking lineup for next Tuesday had been finalized, but there’s been a late addition. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) will deliver her own response to President Obama’s State of the Union address, to be webcast by the group Tea Party Express next Tuesday. The group announced Bachmann’s upcoming remarks in an e-mail to supporters Friday afternoon…It’s fitting that a tea party group would sponsor its own SOTU response: Obama is slated to focus on reining in the federal deficit, and that’s been a prime issue for the tea party movement since...

Wow! This is the new trailer for “Fire From The Heartland,” an passionate and inspiring look at the rise of Conservative women all over this great country. It features Michelle Bachman, Ann Coulter, Phyllis Schlafly, Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin, Jean Schmidt, Janine Turner and more. With the opening moment featuring Rep. Michelle Bachman grilling Timothy Geithner, who looks a bit overwhelmed with her questions, it guides you through the new face of Conservatism! These women sure draw quite the comparison to the bearded Marxists, also strangely called females, on the other side of the aisle. VIDEO

Pictured from the left: Robert Bluey [Heritage Foundation], Guy Benson [Chicago Radio Host], Ed Morrissey [HotAir.com], and Warner Todd Huston [PubliusForum.com] I just flew in from Las Vegas where I attended Americans For Prosperity's RightOnLine 2010 conference. As always, it was an uplifting experience, educational, and a whole lot of fun. I caught up with old friends, met with business partners, and made new friends. For those unaware of what this whole RightOnLine thing is, think of it as an activist's training program. If you attend you'll find sessions and panels that range from such introductory programs as "Blogging 101"...

Yesterday, Senator Arlen Specter, (D-R-D, PA), was on a radio station debating Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. During their discussion, Specter rudely cut off the discussion by patronizingly yelling at Congresswoman Bachmann, a tax attorney: “I’m going to treat you like a lady. Now act like one!” To her credit, Congresswoman Bachmann politely sidestepped this rude and degrading comment and continued to discuss the topic at hand. Wow. It’s hard to imagine the outrage from liberals across the county if a conservative shouted those same words at Speaker Pelosi. Or Hillary Clinton. The outcry from the highest elected officials in this country...

The embattled community group ACORN could help regulate the financial services industry under new financial regulatory reforms, said Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) on Wednesday. Bachmann, a consistent opponent of ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), said that an amendment given in the House Financial Services Committee could allow the group to sit on an advisory panel that monitors the regulations. “ACORN may have a seat at the table being on the oversight committee regulating the financial services industry of the United States,” Bachmann said at a press conference. “And that would be a cruel joke." Bachmann’s remarks come...

As a writer with an academic past in philosophical analysis of political events, one of the issues which captures my attention is the idea of government overthrow: Its feasibility, the causes of its ideology, its agenda and its members. In my internet trawlings, I found this poignant piece, excellent in its backward look at an era paralleling our own in sensibilty and tone. From ObamersDotCom: More and more each day, we hear people like Michelle Bachman inciting conservatives to stock up on guns and ammo and launch the revolution against Obama. Will they really do it? It wouldn't be the...

Michele Bachmann is tossing around a new verb: "Palinize." In the subject line of a fundraising pitch, Bachmann sends out a plea for money saying, "Don't let them Palinize me!" Bachmann goes on to explain that Sarah Palin has been demonized by the left, and she quotes Sean Hannity saying she is now the "second-most-hated Republican woman" after Palin. "With Gov. Palin taking a well-deserved step out of the spotlight, it appears that I may be absorbing even more of the liberals' scorn," Bachmann said. But the Minnesota Republican also seems worried, as she warns that Democrats are raising "$30,000...

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles. (2 Chronicles 32:7-8)

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) has done anything but keep a low profile this Congress, making a series of controversial comments that have attracted attention on both sides of the aisle. In recent weeks, Bachmann has described herself as “a foreign correspondent on enemy lines” letting Americans know about “nefarious activities” in Washington, while later calling on citizens to “rise up” in an “orderly revolution” against the government, which she alleges taxes too much. The comments are consistent with the lawmaker who suggested last fall that the media should investigate Congress for “anti-American” members in its midst. After that remark almost...
