This isn’t your mother’s makeup…unless your mother was PT Barnum’s “Bearded Lady.” Such is the takeaway from Maybelline’s latest Maybelline Partner ad from TikTok, this one featuring an individual with a massive, curly beard, shaved head, and purple dress and necklace testing different shades of its new Super Stay Vinyl Ink Longwear No-Budge Liquid Lipcolor. Famed Twitter account Libs of TikTok drew attention to the ad in an early morning Twitter post on July 13: “This is a new ad from makeup brand @Maybelline. Drop your thoughts in the comments 👇🏻” Watch it here: VIDEO AT LINK.............. Predictably, commenters were...

Maybelline is under fire again for hiring a bearded makeup artist to star in its latest ad — just weeks after the brand fielded calls for boycotts over tapping Dylan Mulvaney to promote its concealer. Maybelline — the world’s largest cosmetics brand — posted an Amazon Prime Day advert, and it stars mustachioed, bearded and bald influencer Ryan Vita. In the ad, Vita sports a full face of makeup and a beaded barette in his beard while applying bright pink shades of Maybellie’s “Super Stay” liquid lipstick.

Maybelline is the latest company facing boycotts over its partnership with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The backlash has stemmed from a TikTok that Mulvaney, 26, posted showing off the cosmetic line while celebrating her 365th day of publicly identifying as a woman. Getting glam for my Day 365 show with @maybelline #maybelline partner,” Mulvaney wrote in a video that has amassed nearly 200,000 likes. The promotional post spurred protests against Maybelline, similar to the wave of boycotts against Anheuser-Busch’s Bud Light for featuring the transgender influencer in an ad on social media. Many have taken to social media...

Video: Dylan Mulvaney Advertises Women’s Shaving Cream by Shaving his Male Facial Hair Transgender internet personality Dylan Mulvaney, a man who claims to be a woman, advertised women’s shaving cream by shaving his male facial hair, and claiming that he’s the type of “girl” who has to shave his face “every day.” Despite widespread opposition to the transgender movement, which outwardly targets American children for deadly mutilation, Nike, Budweiser, Kate Spade, and more have entered into advertising partnerships with Mulvaney, including for the marketing of women’s clothing and beauty accessories. The bizarre video ad was created by trans internet personality...

Maybelline is facing calls for a boycott after a sponsorship with the transgender social-media influencer Dylan Mulvaney, who posted a short video last month of herself applying the brand's cosmetics and "getting glam." The pushback comes as another major brand, Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light, is grappling with a boycott of its beer due to a similar partnership with Mulvaney. The uproar comes as conservative lawmakers in some U.S. states pass laws that restrict the rights of transgender people, such as a new measure in North Dakota that restricts transgender health care in the state. Brands both big and small often partner...

Now this is exactly how we should be ringing in 2017. Earlier this morning Maybelline announced its new ad campaign for its Big Shot Mascara by Colossal, you know, the one in the golden tube, along with two huge firsts for the brand. Not only has it teamed up with beauty influencers for the first time, this also marks Maybelline's first-ever partnership with a man as the star of a campaign. And if you're a fan of Instagram beauty, we know you'll recognize him: Manny Gutierrez, or you may know him best from his social media handles, @MannyMUA733. Our current...

Wouldn't this be a cool gimmick? Somebody who takes care of the marketing gewgaws and doodads grab some tubes of lipstick (a nice neutral pink looks nice on most women) and print them up with an ad on the outside. Sell them for ten bucks a piece. You'll RAKE it in.

Shep Smith was on his 3PM EST segment and talking with Wayne Simmons about paying for news in Iraq. Somehow the talk changed to Murtha and when Simmons said Murtha had bad-mouthed (or words to that effect) our troops, Shep went ballistic.

"Best Mascara Ever!" You've probably heard it before, but here goes again: the best mascara in the world is Maybelline Great Lash. I don't know what they put in it, or why no one else can seem to come close to matching the quality of this product, but it really, really works. I feel awful posting this, because I just signed a contract to be a spokesperson for Cover Girl's new anti-clumping mascara. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it's GREAT!!! How about you, sucias? Do you have a favorite mascara? As for why it matters to me?...
