Chris Evans quits Top Gear after disastrous first season
Top Gear’s audience fell to a new low of two million viewers as the series stalled again in the ratings on Sunday. It also emerged he was facing a police probe following historic accusations of sexual assault. A woman who worked with Evans in the 1990s claims he exposed himself to her and grabbed her breasts. Sources told The Mirror that Evans, 50, was not asked to step down and he will not be replaced in the near future. The newspaper also reported that Top Gear is in pre-production for series 24 and Matt LeBlanc is now the lead presenter.... -
