Friday, 7 March 2003 Due to no one’s fault but my own (lack of planning on my part and work or family commitments on the part of USAF1991 and spinner55) I was flying solo again on Friday and Saturday. I arrived at the Stephenson County Courthouse at about 4:40pm on Friday, and while I was still getting my stuff out of the car I got the first reaction to the “HONK IF YOU SUPPORT OUR TROOPS” sign. A police officer in a cruiser parked across the street honked and extended his fist in support. I smiled and gave him the...

At this week's Friday night FReep of Fresno's peaceniks, twenty-two FReepers and patriots held up signs asking those driving by to show their support for the troops and President Bush. Once again they didn't disappoint us. The response we got (on behalf of the troops and their commander-in-chief) was overwhelming at times! We had two bullhorns in action tonight and we hollered such things as "Hey hey, ho ho, Saddam Hussein has got to go", "United we stand, divided we fall," and "Blessed be the peacemakers, the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, and the Marines." We got the last...

Great time at the rally today! We began around 4:00 pm and had people jumping out of their cars and grabbing signs and American Flags. What a great freep! We had approximately 65 people on our side of the "aisle" compared to about 10 "peacenicks". Thanks goes out to David Chu (freeper) and his wonderful "LIBERATE IRAQ AND SUPPORT OUR TROOPS" signage,American flags, and photography, the Republican Womens Club of Santa Rosa were in force, many business people just getting off work in the downtown area joined us, and other patriotic Americans. People were honking in support of America and our troops and...

Five members from the Houston Chapter of FreeRepublic once again demonstrated support for President Bush, the United States of America, and the troops that defend her while counter-demonstrating against local "anti-war" forces at the Mecom Fountain, near downtown Houston. One of the newest members, John P LSU was the first member to arrive, soon joined by his wife. They arrived at 4:30 and were the first to encounter the other side. Soon Humblegunner, Dix, and PetroniDE joined them and proceeded to take location on the island that contains the Mecom Fountain. Once the large "We Support Our Troops" banner was...

At the 1:00 oclock news on the station that carries Rush Show they talked about a Pro-USA Rally and interviewed a lady that said they are there to support the troops and show America that many people support America and the troops and in fact more people in America and Albany support the President and our troops. The ones that don't are bringing morale down when our troops hear of the protests at home and the bias media's stories of the Anti-war news is all bull. It was a very good news report from what I heard. Said there was...
