At this week's Friday night FReep of Fresno's peaceniks, twenty-two FReepers and patriots held up signs asking those driving by to show their support for the troops and President Bush. Once again they didn't disappoint us. The response we got (on behalf of the troops and their commander-in-chief) was overwhelming at times! Great time at the rally today! We began around 4:00 pm and had people jumping out of their cars and grabbing signs and American Flags. What a great freep! We had approximately 65 people on our side of the "aisle" compared to about 10 "peacenicks". Five members from the Houston Chapter of FreeRepublic once again demonstrated support for President Bush, the United States of America, and the troops that defend her while counter-demonstrating against local "anti-war" forces at the Mecom Fountain, near downtown Houston. At the 1:00 oclock news on the station that carries Rush Show they talked about a Pro-USA Rally and interviewed a lady that said they are there to support the troops and show America that many people support America and the troops and in fact more people in America and Albany support the President and our troops. The ones that don't are bringing morale down when our troops hear of the protests at home and the bias media's stories of the Anti-war news is all bull.
