The Chicago Police Department will discontinue overtime details assigned to guard President Obama's Hyde Park home. The police details, put in place after Obama's election last November, will end Oct. 1.

Metro Police are looking for the grandfather of 6-year-old Cole Puffinburger, who was kidnapped Wednesday morning from his home in Las Vegas. During this news conference, police identified Clemens Fred Tinnemeyer, 51, as a person of interest in the case. Drug activity within the family has been linked to Cole’s abduction. Police said Tinnemeyer owns a sightseeing motorhome service and left the Las Vegas area on a sightseeing tour on May 21.
