The loss of the Titanic left a shaken world in disbelief and made people stop and think. I, personally, became deeply intrigued by the Titanic from the moment I learned of the story as a young child. I believe this is one of those rare, historic events that provides a myriad of timeless lessons. The most obvious is the sinfulness of human pride and arrogance…clearly present in almost every aspect of the story.

Welcome to the Weekend. Your currently sober drunk host coming off 15 hours in bed sleeping but with a busy schedule ahead which will include posting when I can. I am not feeling well but I have worked myself in part to this exhausted state I find myself in. Vaxxers Or Anti-Vaxxers We Are All God's Children The media making much of Joe Rogan saying he is not an "anti-vaxxer" an indication that the Establishment's march in lockstep media wants to demonize and marginalize opponents of vaccination. This world filled with many accusations about people who don't support the Insider...

Before we remember the music of...

Christmas retail sales are confirming what "gloom-and-doomers" have been saying all year: Consumer demand is falling off a cliff. It's in free-fall. The bottom will eventually be hit, but it won't be a trampoline-bounce back up. It will be death on the rocks. 70% of our economy is consumer demand. When consumer demand dries up, the economy crashes. Why is consumer demand drying up? 1) Massive consumer short-term unsecured debt. In the 2002 - 2007 credit bubble, consumers collectively pushed credit card balances over the 14 TRILLION dollar mark. That massive amount of debt simply cannot be paid off. Credit...

Presidential candidates spar over Vietnam Wednesday, April 28, 2004 7:47PM EDT By LIZ MARLANTES, THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR WASHINGTON (CSM) - From the start, the 2004 campaign has seemed destined to pivot around questions of war, with the candidates battling over the direction of U.S. policy in Iraq and how best to defend against the threat of terrorism. But lately, it's another conflagration - Vietnam - that's dominating the campaign discourse. From the Bush team's raising questions about Sen. John Kerry's Purple Hearts and the ribbons or medals he threw at an anti-war protest, to Kerry's questioning whether the president...
