Seattle – A 28-year-old Bellingham, Washington woman was convicted Thursday in U.S. District Court in Seattle of violence against a railroad carrier. Ellen Brennan Reiche, was one of two people arrested on the BNSF Railway tracks near Bellingham, near midnight on November 28, 2020. Reiche was convicted of placing a ‘shunt’ – a device that interferes with train signals – on the tracks. The jury deliberated about three hours following the two-day trial. Reiche faces up to 20 years in prison.

So, I live in the city. And every couple of months, I’d get a slow leak in one of my tires. Michelle Obama has chosen to invite the rapper Common to perform at the White House Wednesday evening, and he is expected to lead rap workshops with school children prior to his performance, which is part of a greater event showcasing America’s poets, musicians, and artists. Common’s lyrics have referenced killing policemen and have called for the burning of George W. Bush.  Maybe he’s not the best choice to be teaching school kids? Here is a video of Common performing:

<p>Latest Video:Little Rock - One person is in custody, and two others have been transported to a local hospital in serious condition following a double-shooting in west Little Rock Monday morning.</p> <p>Authorities say the incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. at the U.S. Army Navy Career Center inside the Ashley Square Shopping Center at 9112 North Rodney Parham Road. According to Lt. Terry Hastings with the Little Rock Police Department, two recruiting officers standing outside the office were hit when the unidentified suspect drove up in a black SUV and began shooting.</p>
