A conservative anti-LGBTQ group has marched in Istanbul to demand that LGBTQ associations be shuttered and their activities banned. The event drew several thousand people and was seen as the largest demonstration of its kind in Turkey. Ahead of Sunday’s demonstration, the organizers circulated a video using images from past LGBTQ Prides in Turkey, calling on viewers to oppose what they called the “virus” of global gay and trans propaganda.

Queens Councilmember Vickie Paladino drew criticism from her City Council colleagues after labeling drag queen events at city schools “degeneracy” and accusing progressives of having “no problem with child grooming and sexualization” in a series of tweets Monday. “Progressives may have no problem with child grooming and sexualization, but I do,” Paladino tweeted. “This will not happen on my watch. An Alabama man is being instructed to return a personalized "LGBF JB" license plate he received in January after ordering it in October or he would have his vehicle registration canceled because the plate featured "objectionable language." The Alabama Department of Revenue's Motor Vehicle Division in February recalled the license plate and sent a letter to the man telling him to return the license plate for language it considered "objectionable" because the letters are seen as a reference to "Let's go, Brandon, f--k Joe Biden."

An Idaho church has replaced a stained glass window of Robert E Lee, George Washington and Abe Lincoln with the country's first black Methodist bishop wearing an LGBTQ scarf. The late bishop Leontine Kelly, who passed away at age 92 in 2012, had lived in Richmond, Virginia with her family where monuments of former Confederate leaders, such as Lee, had lined Monument Avenue. Late last year, the National Association of Realtors adopted a policy forbidding members from engaging in supposedly "harassing speech" or "hate speech" even in their private lives, entirely outside the context of real estate transactions.
