    Leonard Bernstein is described by Wikipedia as "an American composer, conductor, author, music lecturer and pianist." Today would have been his 94th birthday. He was born August 25, 1918 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He died October 14, 1990 in New York City at the age of 72.
