It's just me in the business so I can help a friend who is a building contractor. 5-10 hours a week. So I don't want to pay large setup or annual fees. I just don't want 87,000 heavily armed IRS agents battering my door down. I'm in North Carolina if that matters.

My son got arrested and paid a fine for drunk in public. The police had no reason to subject him for a sobriety check. Isn't that like a unlawful search/seizure? Can he go back and change his plea and fight it to get it off his record? Thanks

In February '04 my wife gave birth to a son who suffered a massive brain injury 12 hours after birth. I'm active duty military displaced between duty stations and was under contract to by a house. My pregnant wife and 3 year old son are living in a cramped hotel room. The seller, one week away from the closing date and after a conference with God has decided to pull out of the contract. What recourse do I have? Does he HAVE to sell because he's under contract? Can I sue for lodging expenses, food and sundry items due to his prolonging of my homelessness? Please Help!! (I'm in Georgia, if that helps you lawyer types)
