Neo-fascists, shouting what was described as a "Nazi slogan," attacked a group of Antifa protesters outside of a venue where conservative activist Charles Kirk had just concluded a lecture. The fascists, believed to be connected to the Traditionalist Worker Party, charged a group of anti-fascist protesters as they were dispersing. Police in riot gear moved in to restore order. Protesters were drawn to campus because of a speech by conservative activist Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, which says on its website is devoted to the promotion of the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets and limited government.

Sheriffs have risen up all over our great nation to stand up against the unconstitutional gun control measures being taken. The following is a list of sheriffs and state sheriff’s associations from all over our great nation who have vowed to uphold and defend the Constitution against Obama’s unlawful gun control measures. I applaud these public servants for their courage and conviction. I would encourage other Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers to add their voices to the growing numbers of faithful protectors of our freedom. List of State Sheriff’s Associations 1. The parents of the "Balloon Boy" are about to land - perhaps behind bars. Richard Heene and his wife, Mayumi, reached a deal with authorities to enter guilty pleas over their October hoax that transfixed the country, their lawyer said Thursday. Heene, 48, will plead guilty to a felony - attempting to influence a public servant - while his 45-year-old wife will plead to a misdemeanor charge, attorney David Lane said. Although Lane initially said the deal would spare the couple from jail time, the lawyer later said he expected prosecutors to request some time behind bars - 90 days...

DENVER — The mother of the 6-year-old boy once feared missing inside a runaway helium balloon admitted the whole saga was a hoax, according to court documents released Friday. Mayumi Heene told sheriff's deputies that she and her husband Richard "knew all along that Falcon was hiding in the residence" in Fort Collins, according to an affidavit used to get a search warrant for the home.

The Federal Aviation Administration has opened its own investigation into the 50-mile flight of the helium balloon that briefly delayed flights at Denver International Airport after a couple reported that their 6-year-old son may have been on board, an official said Tuesday. FAA spokesman Mike Fergus said the agency investigates civil allegations rather than criminal ones. He declined to provide details on the nature of the FAA probe or its possible outcome. Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden has said investigators believe amateur storm chasers Richard and Mayumi Heene called 911 Thursday saying they thought their son, Falcon, was aboard the...

The Larimer County Sheriff says criminal charges are likely expected to be filed against Richard Heene. Heene is the Fort Collins man who reported his 6-year-old son missing in a helium-filled balloon on Thursday. The sheriff did not give specific charges, but said they would likely be a class 3 misdemeanor, which could be false reporting. The sheriff's office is working on getting a search warrant to search the Heene home and is planning a news conference Sunday at 11 a.m. Richard Heene and his wife Mayumi were interviewed by investigators Saturday.

Two days ago I made the drive along Peak to Peak Hwy (Colorado state Hwy 72) from Boulder Country, into Larimer County, to Rocky Mountain National park and back home. Here are some of the photos from the high country, or as I know it 'my backyard'. This is from Peak to Peak Hwy near Allenspark in Boulder County. The 'highest peak' from this perspective is 13,900+ ft. Mt Meeker and just to the left 14,000+ ft. Last weekend (Fri. Sept. 15th to Sunday Sept. 17th) we went to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for the first time to hike, run, play golf and have a look at local real estate. On the way we captured the changing of the Aspen trees on digital camera along with a couple of shots of Steamboat Springs ski resort after they had about 8 inches of snow on Storm Peak and Mt. Werner during the day on Saturday. Aspens from Poudre Canyon on Highway 14 in Larimer County WNW of Ft. Collins - --- A couple of pics of Steamboat Springs ski...
