Last year, among the nation's 10 largest cities, Philadelphia had the highest murder rate with 406 victims. This year could easily top last year's with 240 murders so far. Other cities such as Baltimore, Detroit and Washington, D.C., with large black populations, experience the nation's highest rates of murder and violent crime. This high murder rate is, and has been, predominantly a black problem. According to Bureau of Justice statistics, between 1976 and 2005, blacks, while 13 percent of the population, committed over 52 percent of the nation's homicides and were 46 percent of the homicide victims. Ninety-four percent of...

Newark, N.J. — Presidential candidate Tom Tancredo is urging the families of three young murder victims to consider suing the city of Newark for negligence, saying its lax immigration policy is at least partially to blame for the execution-style slayings. The conservative Republican congressman from Colorado brought his immigration-themed campaign to the steps of Newark City Hall today, where he denounced the city's policy of not involving itself in immigration matters. "I am encouraging the families of the victims to pursue the option of a lawsuit, in light of this culpability," Tancredo said, criticizing Newark's status as a so-called "sanctuary...

THE grim execution-style shootings that killed three college students in a Newark schoolyard two weeks ago bore many hallmarks of gangland slayings, and the culprits clearly wanted it that way. Three of the four victims, two women and two young men aged 18 to 20, were forced to kneel facing a wall before being shot in the head. Both women, one of whom survived, were slashed in the face with a machete or knife. And the MySpace page of one of the six suspects, a 16-year-old who is still at large, pays loving homage to one of the country’s most...

Steve Tocco, a 44-year-old Mount Clemens man, is now dead after his 22-year-old neighbor attacked him with a golf club. The dispute occurred during the evening hours of Aug. 14 when the men got into a dispute over an undetermined matter related to the suspect’s dog, said Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel. Both lived in an apartment complex located on Comet Street in Mount Clemens. According to Hackel, after the argument, the suspect, Alberto Barajas-Enriquez, left his apartment, removed a golf club from his truck, entered Tocco’s home without permission, and struck him several times. Tocco placed a 911 call...

Since last week more and more evidence comes forward regarding the lethality of Liberal criminal justice policies on our citizens. In Kansas judge Matthew Dowd had before him one Orlando Cisneros convicted of raping and sodomising a 14 year old girl. How long is that worth in jail, 15 or 20 years?? Not in Kansas. Judge Dowd put this animal on probation, which he has already violated. Think someone is going to die at the hands of Mr. Cisneros? Absolutely. Maryland, already a Liberal hotbed after the scandalous affair involving Judge Savage, now has one almost to equal it. Judge...
