The undoing of the 2020 Presidential Election would appear to be gathering momentum with more and more states commencing audits of the ballots and counting methods. With these audits progressing a number of commentators on the left are starting to be concerned that President Trump may well end up sworn into office sometime before the next election. For argument's sake let's consider that President Trump is inaugurated after January 20, 2023. According to the 22nd Amendment if there are less than two years left in President Trump's term of office then he could run for re-election in 2024 and end...

Keep hope alive! Okay, yeah, the Mueller investigation looks like a bust, and won't produce any more indictments. But hey: there are still lots of other investigations out there! The dream continues! That was the theme of Joy Reid's MSNBC show this morning. Check out the mashup we've created, and you'll soon get the idea. From congressional investigations, to the Southern District of New York, it's investigations a go-go! The number of pending investigations was variously given as 16, 17, and even [facetiously, we presume] 47, according to David Korn! Get the rest of the story and view the video...

A pair of new polls are showing good news for presidential hopeful Ted Cruz. In a new Fox News poll of 388 likely GOP primary voters, frontrunner Donald Trump and Texas Senator Ted Cruz are now in a statistical dead heat nationally. The poll shows Trump and Cruz polling at 41%-38% respectively, a slight edge for the real estate mogul, but within the poll's +/- 5 point margin of error. Governor John Kasich is running in third place with 17%. A second poll, this one from Emerson College, is spelling good news for Ted Cruz in the April 5th, winner-take-all...

[SNIP]The argument against Cruz is that he’s obnoxious. His colleagues don’t like him,and exit polls show he doesn’t do nearly as well among moderate and somewhat conservative voters as he does among hardcore conservatives....That’s why, when my colleague Jamelle Bouie was betting on Cruz,I put my money on Rubio...I stand refuted.Cruz hasn’t overcome the Trump wave, but he has proved that in an angry party, his organization, discipline, and message can beat a broadly appealing rival.Republicans who vote for Trump in 2016,only to see him abandoned by elements of their party and defeated in the general election, would be at least as angry in 2020.The notion that...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush and Democratic Sen. John Kerry are tied nationwide in a tense race for the White House, but Kerry leads in six of 10 battleground states, according to Reuters/Zogby polls released on Sunday. Kerry and Bush were deadlocked at 48 percent in the latest three-day national tracking poll, which included one day of polling taken after the airing of a videotape from Osama bin Laden. Kerry led Bush 47 percent to 46 percent on Saturday. Only 2 percent of voters remain undecided as Bush and Kerry scoured about 10 remaining battleground states to find the 270...
