On Thursday, the Georgia State Senate passed a sweeping bill that places new restrictions on charitable groups involved with bailing out riot-related suspects. The bill will also expand the cash bail system, hindering repeat offender's chances of being bailed out of jail. This legislation is partly in response to the dozens of criminal riot arrestees who have been hit with RICO and terrorism charges over crimes committed during the ongoing Antifa-backed "Stop Cop City" demonstrations. The court ruled in favor of Post Millennial senior editor Andy Ngo on Monday in his civil trial against the remaining three alleged Antifa defendants that had physically attacked him in June 2019. Defendants Corbyn Katherine Belyea, Madison Lee Allen, and Sammica Overkill Schott-Deputy were found liable by Judge Sinaplasai for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Jacob Michael Gaines, 24, was sentenced to nearly four years in federal prison for brutally attacking a Deputy US Marshal with a hammer during a 2020 riot in Portland, Oregon. Gaines, a Texas man that crossed state lines to participate in a riot perpetrated by Antifa militants last July, pleaded guilty in September to assault with a deadly weapon.
