Leftist ice cream company Ben and Jerry's is working to organize a direct action "against fascism" to oppose President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration. The "People's March" will take place on January 18 in Washington, DC, as well as other locations across the country. The ice cream shop sent a newsletter encouraging customers to protest and "dissent."
"Power to the people! On January 18, we're joining the People's March in Washington, DC (and beyond!) to send an urgent message to the incoming administration: You work for the people, and we're here to hold you accountable," Ben and Jerry's wrote. "Together, we will fight for our rights and our future, and defend our freedoms against fascism. It is our right to protest and safely dissent policies and practices that do not represent our beliefs - regardless of who is in power. We are more united than we are divided. Let's make sure they know it!"

I love this bit...
“We’re guessing most of you know by now that Ben & Jerry’s is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unilever, but we’re betting you’ve never met our independent Board of Directors…”
SNORT.
The corporate tools should STFU.
Protest POTUS 47 by not buying anything from Ben & Jerry’s for the next four years.
(And leave a bunch of negative reviews on all of their pages)
I can’t boycott what I have never bought.
They’re still pushing this? They’re persistent liars or insane.
Someone please show them a definition of fascism and explain it requires socialism or some other kind of absolute centralized government. Deregulation and weakening the government is the opposite.
Take your damn ice cream and ...
I do not remember when I last had any their high priced products.
Per Newsweak:
“The list of 2023’s most-woke companies that conservative shoppers might want to avoid if they wish to align their purchases with their values will probably surprise some people.
At the top of the list is Unilever, best known as the maker of Dove, Vaseline and other skin-care products, but also as the owner of ice-cream brand, Ben & Jerry’s, long known for embracing progressive causes.
But not making the Top 10 list at all are some of the brands that dominated news cycles in 2023 for their perceived wokeness, like Disney, Bud Light and Target”
“Anti fossle fuels”? How do they ship their ice cream?
Two stupid New York hippies who moved to Vermont, along with many other New York stupid hippies.
I say load up a grocery cart full of the their frozen crap and leave it in an aisle.
That doesn’t punish the manufacturer - just the store owners and employees, I think.
I hate that their ice cream is so damned good.
they had their chance.
their product is now POISON.
Ben and Jerry’s? I had forgotten that they even used to be a thing. Didn’t they hate Bush or something 20 years ago?
I’m in the same boat, but there are alternatives so I stopped buying from them years ago.
Liberal Assholes have never gotten a dime from me.
Are those stinky, light in the loafer, idiot beatniks going to make a celebration ice cream in commemoration about the inauguration?
Are they venturing in, oh, say..... INSURRECTION territory?
