Four Las Vegas teenagers accused of beating a 17-year-old to death have asked a judge to dismiss their murder charge, despite the attack being caught on camera. The accused, Dontral Beaver, 16; Damien Hernandez, 17; Treavion Randolph, 16; and Gianni Robinson, 17, have been indicted and pleaded not guilty to the murder of Jonathan Lewis. The foursome and their attorneys appeared in front of Clark County District Court Judge Tierra Jones yesterday and argued that there is insufficient evidence for their charges. Multiple videos from the day of the attack show a group of teens hitting, kicking and stomping Lewis...

Two more teenagers have pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter for beating Las Vegas teen Jonathan Lewis to death in November. Both of the teens entered guilty pleas in court on Wednesday morning as they appeared shackled and in juvenile custody uniforms before Judge Amy Mastin. The juveniles' names aren't being publicly released because of their ages and because their cases are being handled in the family court system. They are being charged for their role in the death of Jonathan Lewis, 17, who died after he was savagely beaten down by a group of around 15 other students. Lewis's fatal...

Four of the nine teens charged with Lewis’ murder appeared before Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Nadia Woods but did not receive bail as expected, with Woods instead saying she’d issue a written order on bond for each defendant next week, local CBS affiliate station KLAS reported. The four teens — Damien Hernandez, 17, Gianni Robinson, 17, Dontral Beaver, 16, and Treavion Randolph, 16 — appeared...

Cowed, cuffed, and being tried as adults, the four teens mumbled their replies as they stood before Judge Nadia Wood at the start of a trial which could see them jailed for life. This story is incredibly sad. A "smaller friend" was being tormented by a group of 15 bullies down the street from a Vegas high school — literally having been placed in a trash can — when Jonathan Lewis, a now deceased 17-year-old, came to the rescue and started throwing punches in defense of his little buddy. Unfortunately, and this is hard to put on paper, Lewis was beaten so severely by that same mob of 15 kids that he ended up succumbing to his injuries and sadly passed away less than two weeks later. This is a serious matter and...
