Now that the general election ads are officially starting, I would recommend re-using this ad, with the minor change of cutting out the Newsweek quote, which doesn't read well at all. This ad works because of the amazing war footage which tells the story for him, rather than him explaining that he was a POW, as the newest ad does. This is a powerful ad and the only one that shows him crying, as he recalls how he was injured, and seems emotionally shattered having to explain to his captors how his arms and leg are broken.
