CBS’s Sunday Morning started off with their anchor Jane Pauley fearmongering that if Republicans win in the 2022 midterm elections, “democracy” could end in the United States. Plugging an upcoming segment by correspondent Robert Costa, Pauley fretted that “the very future of our democracy” is on the ballot in 2022. “This past summer, it was looking like the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade might offer an opportunity to the party in power, the Democrats. But a more recent issue, inflation, could very well rule the day. And favor Republicans,” Pauley bemoaned. Kicking off his report, Costa cried...

“A recent report reveals the world’s nearly 3,000 billionaires increased their wealth by $5 trillion last year....Which prompts Mark Whitaker to ask: When is more than enough, enough?,” host Jane Pauley announced at the top of the segment. Whitaker went on to warn viewers: “The wealth gap has reached stratospheric levels. The richest one percent of Americans now has almost 13 times the wealth of the bottom 50 percent. It’s led some to consider: Maybe you can be too rich.” He turned to a far-left, European philosophy professor to explain her socialist ideology of seizing wealth by giving it a...

VIDEONot too long ago hordes of celebrities were gushing over Andrew Cuomo despite the fact that it was already well known at the time that he forced many infected elderly patients into New York nursing homes. However, we need to now overlook how ridiculous those celebs were and... Aw! Who am I kidding? Those idiotic celebs need to be fully exposed for their blind worship of Cuomo and here at the DUmmie FUnnies we are duty bound to reveal just how foolish they looked even though they now probably wish they had just kept their big fat mouths shut about...

CBS Sunday Morning exploited the coronavirus to whine about income inequality and how terrible capitalism is. It also speculated whether the virus itself was presenting an opportunity to change the economic system. The program, hosted by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) fan Jane Pauley, used 409 seconds of airtime grumbling about America’s “worsening economic inequality.” To start off, CBS News Business Analyst Jill Schlesinger exploited the economic plight of a random American family to argue that “last year, the Census Bureau found income inequality was at its highest level in fifty years.” Three of the four commentators Schlesinger used...

VIDEO It's almost too cringeworthy to watch as Jane Pauley goes full goo-goo ga-ga lovestruck over New York Governor Cuomo. And Jane, what exactly is this "Phase One" relationship of which you speak? Let's give credit to Cuomo for keeping a straight face when he claims that he fully believes that Joe Biden will run for a second term at age 82. That red blush on his face is either from Jane Pauley publicly gushing over him or his tell that he just told a whopper about Biden.

Effectively downplaying his fumbled response to the coronavirus outbreak in his state, and ignoring the bipartisan calls from state legislatures to investigate why he put infected patients in nursing homes, CBS Sunday Morning host Jane Pauley spent her segment gushes about Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Not only was she dismissive of his critics, but she also appeared to flirt with him while discussing how he was an eligible, sought after bachelor, and pushed him on running for president in 2024 . . . PAULEY: You are a bachelor, you've got a nice house here, having a moment, and...

“[Madam] Speaker is the proper way to address Nancy Pelosi”, CBS host Jane Pauley instructed viewers as she led into her gooey puff piece interview with the California Democrat featured on the network’s Sunday Morning. How gushy was the interview with the new Speaker? Well, it could be argued that the toughest question Pauley asked was about whether or not Pelosi could work with President Trump. The video began with Pauley hyping how “Nancy Pelosi capped her comeback this past week surrounded by children”, (a.k.a political props). If that didn’t set the tone for what was to come, then the...

The anti-government protests targeting government and religious leaders sweeping across Iran took a bloody turn Sunday as overnight reports surfaces of two protestors being killed at the hands of the corrupt government. Disgustingly, the deaths didn’t trigger much air on the three major American networks. ABC’s Good Morning America had a blackout of the deaths and protests all together while NBC only found 24 seconds for them. CBS finally discovered the protests, as they continued into their fourth day, dedicating a meager 16 seconds. Instead of allowing serious time for the brutal murders of Iranian civilians and the protests, whose...

A federal judge in New York has ruled that the National Security Agency's massive collection of American citizens' telephone records is both legal and useful. U.S. District Judge William Pauley wrote in his opinion issued Friday that the program "represents the government's counter-punch" to eliminate al-Qaeda's terror network. Pauley raised the specter of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and how the phone data-collection system could have helped investigators connect the dots before the attacks occurred. Pauley's decision appears to conflict with a ruling earlier this month by U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon, who granted a preliminary injunction against the...

Jane Pauley, one-time co-host of NBC's Today and Dateline NBC programs, is actively campaigning for Barack Obama. A couple of weeks ago, I wrote of one such appearance in Portage, Indiana that attracted only eight people. That event also featured Steve Skvara, the retired steelworker who in August of last year tearfully asked Democratic presidential candidates at a debate, "What's wrong with America? And what will you do to change it?" It's only fair that I follow up by reporting that Pauley's current efforts are being met with much more enthusiasm. Maybe it's because she's now campaigning at Democratic headquarters...

Claiming that The New York Times duped her into granting an interview for what turned out to be a drug company-funded advertising supplement, Jane Pauley has sued the newspaper for fraud. In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court, the 55-year-old broadcaster charges that she believed that the Times interview was for a news article on mental health issues, but that the story (accompanied by a full-page photo) ran in an October 2005 "special advertising supplement" promoting psychotherapeutic drugs sold by Eli Lilly and other pharmaceutical firms. Pauley, who in September 2004 disclosed her battle with bipolar disorder, alleges...

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- "The Jane Pauley Show" will call it a wrap next month. NBC Universal Television Distribution confirmed Friday that the first-run daytime talk show hosted by the former "Today" and "Dateline NBC" anchor will end production by the middle of April, though original episodes will run through early September. "Jane Pauley" was last year's most high-profile talk show debut as NBC Universal sought to develop a talk show franchise that would serve as the late-afternoon bridge between entertainment fare and local news on its owned-and-operated (O&O) outlets, much as "The Oprah Winfrey Show" does for...

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - After a respectable debut, freshman talker "The Jane Pauley Show" has suffered a hefty slide in its ratings. The veteran newswoman's foray into the daytime wars averaged a 1.7 household rating/5 share in Nielsen Media Research's top 54 "metered" markets last week -- its second week on the air. That's down 11% from its first week (the frame ending Sept. 5), when the first-run syndicated strip averaged a 1.9/6. The show premiered Aug. 30 with an average 2.4/7 in the top markets. "Jane's" performance last week was down 26% from the year-ago time period average...
