ROSEMONT, Ill. - Karen Hughes, one of President Bush's closest advisers, told a gathering of American Muslims on Friday that part of her new State Department job is to help amplify the voices of groups like theirs that are condemning terrorism and religious extremism. ROSEMONT, Ill. - An American Muslim group said Friday participants in its annual meeting will be asked to endorse a statement that calls terrorism "the epitome of injustice because it targets innocent people." <p>It is clear, even today, that Iraq had, and probably still has, well hidden biological and chemical weapons of mass destruction. Notwithstanding this fact, fanatical, Muslim, "terrorists are weapons of mass destruction" (This is a Tag Line for someone here on FR. Would someone please give credit?) President G. W. Bush, like his father before him, started out on the right track. Unfortunately, like his father before him, he slowed down, backed off, and stopped before the job was completed. Don't get me wrong. I am a Bush supporter. I just want to see him finish the job. We have now been put on the defensive. There are reasons behind this too, but that is a topic for later discourse.</p>
