NEW YORK (AP) -- The NFL is looking into how a female television reporter was treated at New York Jets practice Saturday. Ines Sainz, a reporter for Mexico's TV Azteca doing a story on quarterback Mark Sanchez, had footballs thrown in her direction by a Jets coach during practice, and players later called out to her in the team's locker room. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Sunday that the league and the Jets began looking into the situation when they were made aware of it Saturday night.

The NFL will implement a workplace conduct training programme after finding the New York Jets acted unprofessionally in the case of a female television reporter who said she felt "uncomfortable" in their locker room. Commissioner Roger Goodell said the conduct of the Jets "clearly should have been better" but also stressed that his investigation of the matter found no evidence that TV Azteca reporter Ines Sainz was "bumped, touched, brushed against or otherwise subjected to any physical contact" by any player or coach. This past weekend, the woman billed by her employer as Mexico’s “Hottest Reporter” entered the locker room of the New York Jets football team to conduct an interview.
