The Justice Department issued a warning that the anonymous writer of a coming book about the Trump administration could be violating nondisclosure agreements, requesting information from the author’s agents and publisher that they said they wouldn’t provide. At issue is a book by a writer described as a senior Trump administration official whose op-ed piece in the New York Times last year caused controversy by suggesting that administration insiders were intentionally working to blunt the impact of some of the president’s decisions.
