Stand back. Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy are facing off in a senatorial smackdown over the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Massachusetts' Sen. Ted has been pressing hard to bring the political opera to Boston - telling each potential Democratic presidential candidate it would be a nifty 70th-birthday present. Hillary is playing on Sept. 11 sympathies to bring the convention to New York.
