  • Why Mohave County, AZ Board of Supervisors (I am one) certified the 2022 election yesterday.

There are a couple of threads going on on FreeRepublic about this and I do not think people understand what certification of an election is and what it would mean not to certify a County election. I am attaching an article from today's Lake Havasu City Paper that I think did a very good job reporting what happened yesterday. I will be happy to answer any questions that anyone has. Mohave County is the most Conservative County in Arizona if not the whole Southwest. If I believed, for one minute, not certifying the Mohave County election would lead to something...

President Donald Trump tweeted Thursday that he finally agrees with Rosie O’Donnell, the liberal actress and activist, on at least one point. The president’s Tweet was in response to a message O’Donnell tweeted in 2016, blaming former FBI Director James Comey for interfering with the 2016 presidential election by releasing information about the expansion of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.

Some of you know I ran for County Supervisor and I won. I beat the incumbent Republican Supervisor (who raised taxes three years in a row), and went on to win the general. I took the oath of office today to upholds the Constitution and protect my Country from all enemies...foreign and domestic. And then we had a meeting and I fulfilled some campaign promises. A great day for me, and I wanted to share it with you.

Tomorrow is the Arizona Primary Election! So tomorrow morning, when you rise and say your prayers....after the important ones, could you please say a little one for me. I am running for Mohave County Board of Supervisor, against a three term incumbent from my own Republican Party. He has not behaved like a Republican, so I decided to take him on...I expect to win, but I sure can use some prayers! Since there are no Democrats or Independents running, (I waged a legal challenge against the Independent in the race. He did not have enough valid signatures on his petition)...

URBANDALE, Iowa (AP) — Sarah Palin is making a surprise appearance at a suburban Des Moines restaurant. And she was greeted there Friday night with chants of "Run, Sarah, run!" Hundreds of fans jammed into the Iowa Machine Shed, with the backroom of the farm-themed restaurant overflowing, as people from as far away as Texas, Florida and California strained for a glimpse of the former Alaska governor....

YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. – Bill Warner is hardly a naive man. He ran his own engineering firm for three decades, and sold the assets just before the economy tanked. He built his dream home on a majestic hill abutting a national park, back when the housing market was steady. While some neighbors have since been foreclosed upon, Warner is resurfacing his flagstone deck. And so he understands, quite clearly, that in the world of politics, his little group — officially, the Lincoln Club of the Morongo Basin — is but a molecule in the figurative drop in the bucket of...

SEATAC, Wash. - The official Christmas trees are still down at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, but a few little trees have popped up at airline counters. An employee at Frontier Airlines took up a collection on Monday and bought a few foot-tall trees for the counter. The initiative followed a decision by airport officials to remove its nine Christmas trees instead of adding a giant Jewish menorah to the holiday display as a rabbi had requested. Maintenance workers boxed up the trees during the graveyard shift early Saturday, when airport bosses believed few people would notice. “We decided to take the...

There will be no more Christmas trees at Sea-Tac Airport this season after the Port of Seattle received at least one complaint about them. For more than 25 years, the airport has celebrated the holidays with Christmas trees over its entrances. But overnight, the Port of Seattle ordered all 15 trees removed. "I think it's very unfortunate. Why lose the Christmas spirit? Christmas is for kids," said passenger Lisa Jones. The Port allowed "holiday" decorations to remain but decided to take down all the Christmas trees after a Jewish religious leader complained they were offensive. "It's a Christmas tree! It's...
