Daniel Cameron @DanielCameronAG This is what the @HeraldLeader —a “tolerant,” left-leaning newspaper—thinks about black folks who dare to be Republican. You’re a racist following the KKK unless you hate @realDonaldTrump. Let’s make history on November 5th and show we don’t take orders from the elites anymore.

People are outraged after the Herald Leader published political cartoonist Joel Pett's recent cartoon about Governor Elect Matt Bevin. The cartoon has been viewed by many as an attack on Bevin's adopted children. The Governor Elect is calling Pett a racist and some people are demanding that the paper fire Pett and the entire editorial staff at the Herald Leader. The cartoon, published Thursday, shows Bevin under his desk, shivering with fear. The caption reads, "Sir, they're not terrorists...they're your own adopted kids!" The children referenced in this cartoon are the four Ethiopian children the Governor Elect and his wife...

by Mark Finkelstein August 18, 2006 - 08:06 A man labelled with a Jewish star laments that he can't blow up food and medicine being handed out to Arabs. Hezbollah is lauded for "building bridges" with people. Where does this editiorial come from? A Hezbollah house organ, perhaps? Al-Jazeera? Maybe a fringe anti-Semitic group in the US? No. It's an editorial cartoon by Joel Pett of the Lexington [KY] Herald-Leader that the Los Angeles Times saw fit to reprint on its op-ed page of this. This is the state of the MSM in 2006.

U.S. oversteps in Schiavo case By Merlene Davis HERALD-LEADER COLUMNIST Just let me die. If for any reason I cannot eat, drink, speak or go to the bathroom on my own for 15 years, please have compassion and let me die. If my sister and brother fight my husband's attempts to remove my feeding tubes, just know that my siblings are sick with grief and are not thinking straight. Tell them to let me go. The Terri Schiavo case,-involving a 41-year-old woman in Florida whose heart stopped beating briefly in 1990, leaving her brain damaged, has gotten this country's priorities...

CIA REVIEW IS THE LATEST TO DISCREDIT A REASON FOR WARBy Warren P. Strobel, Jonathan S. Landay And John WalcottKNIGHT RIDDER WASHINGTON BUREAU WASHINGTON - A new CIA assessment undercuts the White House's claim that Saddam Hussein maintained ties to al-Qaida, saying there's no conclusive evidence that the regime harbored Osama bin Laden associate Abu Musab al Zarqawi. The CIA review, which U.S. officials said yesterday was requested some months ago by Vice President Dick Cheney, is the latest assessment that calls into question one of President Bush's key justifications for last year's U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. The new assessment follows...
