I particapated in an Employee Stock purchase plan. I sold the stock in 2007. The problem is the broker is Canadian as well even though the stock is US listed and purchased in US Dollars. I received a T5008 Statement instead of a 1099. I can only get a years worth of detail(bought and sold information) online for one year(ex. April 2007-April 2008). I just got a Dell laptop Latitude. I've never owned a laptop before. Can I literally use it on my lap? I heard the bottom gets hot? Does it get so hot that it can discolor my furniture? When I'm not using it for business, I'll have it connected to my tv. Can I just leave it plugged in with no adverse effect, or am I supposed to unplug it when not in use. I'm looking for someone who may know how to enter a mathematical formula into a MS Excel spreadsheet. I am a general contractor, the formula is for determining the radius of an arc depending on the distance between two points, with the height of the arc remaining constant. I'm in an argument with liberal co-workers on the merits of gun ownership. They are claiming that there are few (if any) examples of where civilians (not police officers or security guards) came to the public’s defense. My computer is infested with this crap and I can't get rid of it. None of the free services can solve the problem, and I might even pay for such a service, except that all of them seem to be just folks willingly to take advantage of you and charge you more money, and possibly infect you more. Why all of a sudden am I loading the Latest articles page? It used to be clicking on messages in the upper right corner solved the problem. Now, I finally found "Comments" down the right side a bit, but every time ya hit browse now coming out of a thread, I return to latest articles page! Any experts on virus protection? I have McAfee VIRUS PROTECTION, but I also have a big time vundo virus infection which I can't get rid of. My keyboard's F-10 and F-11 keys have green lights below them and its wreaking havok. I this it must be some kind of sticky, hot, mouse shortcut thing but I cannot figure it out. If I press the number 9 I get 79 and if I hit 7 I get 79. Its the same with U and O and J and the . button I have been trying for over a week to figure this out and its grating. I have seen others mention this on other forums without resolution.
