Tariffs are just “one chapter of the book of the Trump economic agenda,” Sen. David McCormick (R-PA) said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday, discussing tariffs and the latest jobs numbers. The latest jobs numbers, he began, are a “reflection of a number of companies already starting to invest in jobs in the United States,” or “an early response to the Trump economic agenda.”“And listen, you know, the last month has been tariffs, tariffs, tariffs… And I will talk about that in a minute. But the tariffs are just one chapter of the book of the Trump economic agenda, and...

Republicans in Pennsylvania are seeing a higher percentage of low-propensity voters turn out and vote than Democrats are, Rob Bresnahan, Republican candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District, said during an interview on Breitbart News Daily. Bresnahan said the GOP currently has about 17 percent participation from low-propensity voters in the state — people who did not vote in 2020 and/or 2022 — compared to the Democrats, who are seeing 11 percent participation from that same group. The congressional hopeful said the trends are good, and described the energy on the ground as “shocking.” “The response that we’ve had...

Former President Donald Trump is attracting massive crowds as the election barrels down and he travels coast to coast. Trump has taken no days off, traveling across the country and sometimes holding multiple events a day. He’ll be in more states. On Thursday, he’s literally traveling all over the country, hitting every single battleground state — Pennsylvania, Georgia, again, he’ll be in North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin — all over the next seven days,” Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily earlier this week. “So it’s a busy schedule. We’ve been...

Former President Donald Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harris by double digits in Florida — once a considered a battleground state — according to a University of North Florida Public Opinion Research Lab (PORL) survey released Monday. The survey, taken among 977 likely Florida voters, showed 53 percent expressing support of Trump this election cycle. Harris came in ten points behind, garnering just 43 percent support. Two percent said they would vote for another candidate, and two percent remain unsure. The survey noted they included “blurters” in the final results:

Most independents who say they are voting for Kamala Harris admit that it is mostly a vote “against” former President Donald Trump rather than a vote in favor of the vice president, whereas most independents voting for Trump say it is, indeed, a vote in favor of the former president. A survey from the Economist/YouGov asked supporters of both Trump and Harris if they are mostly voting “for” their candidate or “against” the other. Across the board, roughly one-third of Harris voters said they are mostly voting “AGAINST” Trump, while 65 percent said they are not voting “FOR” Harris. In...

The enthusiasm among Democrats for Vice President Kamala Harris stepping in to run at the top of the Democrat ticket instead of President Joe Biden is “palpable,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) claims, despite initial polling showing that less than half believe Harris should be the one to replace Biden in the race. Biden remained obstinate for weeks after his poor debate performance against former President Donald Trump, refusing to drop out of the race despite pleas from Democrats. At the time, Biden even sent a letter to congressional Democrats, stating, “I wouldn’t be running again if I did...

Karl Rove endorsed North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum for former President Donald Trump’s running mate, making the remark on Thursday, days ahead of the Republican National Convention taking place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Trump has yet to officially announce his choice for vice president and is expected to make that announcement any day now. However, there has been chatter with a few names continually surfacing, including Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance and Burgum. As for Karl Rove, he believes Burgum is the correct choice.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) pledged on Wednesday to vote against former President Donald Trump, then endorsed North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R) for a vice presidential pick just seconds later. CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked Cox if he would vote for Trump as the party’s nominee, but he said he has not voted for a Republican candidate at the top of the ticket since 2012. “I haven’t voted for the top of the ticket since 2012. I’ve certainly had my concerns. One of those is what happened on January 6. I’m hopeful. I want my party to win. They chose...

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday remembered to blame President Joe Biden’s panic-inducing debate performance on jet lag, apologizing for failing to mention it previously. “You did get numerous questions yesterday about the President’s debate performance. You didn’t mention travel, the jet lag, the foreign trip. So I think you can understand why it was a little bit puzzling to hear the president mentioning that as his explanation for the first time last night,” a reporter told Jean-Pierre, who said she was aware of that excuse as well. “That is my bad,” Jean-Pierre responded. “That is part of,...
