Were your ancestors abused by a racist, oppressive system? If so, you may have rightful dibs on three-quarters of a hundred billion dollars. At least, that's true of "you" in the group sense -- such is the stance of an alliance in Missouri. New York Democrat Representative Jamaal Bowman is co-funding a $14 trillion reparation bill against the federal government, citing ongoing systematic racism, American slavery, and the aftermath of it. The bill, HR 414, would support the National Publishers Association, the National Association of Black Broadcasters, and the “restoration of voting rights for persons currently or previously incarcerated,” while providing free college education for Black Americans at the 107 HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities) across the nation. If the Left’s 2024 strategy is to divide and conquer, you’re on the hit list. Elected Democrats and their activist handlers are surging forward with plans to implement multi-billion-dollar slavery reparations bills first in blue states, then nationwide. The latest push came on Jan. 8, when socialist Rep. Cori Bush (D–MO) introduced her $14 trillion “Reparations NOW” bill, which has made its way from the fringe of the far Left to the Democratic Party plank in just a few years. While cynically bribing black voters ahead of the November presidential election is the obvious goal, Democrats are also stoking racial...

Former slave-trading colonial powers should pay Barbados $4.9 trillion (£3.9 trillion) in reparations, the Caribbean country’s leftist prime minister demanded. Speaking at the London School of Economics this week, Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley redoubled her push for slavery reparations, saying that the movement demanding payment for historical wrongs had become a more pressing issue following the resurgence of Black Lives Matter and the killing of George Floyd in the United States in 2020.

The office for New York City Mayor Eric Adams says it supports the 'spirit' of a legislation that could trigger black New Yorkers to be paid reparations for slavery. Sideya Sherman, commissioner of the Mayor's Office of Equity, said the controversial bill should be tweaked to avoid overlapping with two comparable state bills. The bill, which was created by Councilwoman Farah Louis to launch a task force to study the effects of racial discrimination on the city could potentially lead to payments being issued, The Post reports.

At long last, justice has come: the Chicago suburb of Evanston, Ill., has begun paying reparations to black residents. So now that historic wrongs have been righted, a new era of racial harmony will dawn in northern Illinois, right? Wrong: one local “civil rights activist” is already complaining that the payouts are too meager and more money is needed. Despite the discontent, however, supporters of the scheme are optimistic, with one even terming it “a test run for the whole country.” Yeah, that’s the problem. The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that Evanston will shell out $25,000 to around 140...

One of the progressive liberal politicians pushing for reparations in cash-strapped San Francisco also wanted to defund the police, and believes some Honduran fentanyl dealers are human trafficking victims who should be protected rather than prosecuted. Hillary Ronen is one of the 11 supervisors who will decide on a wide-eyed reparations plan for the city's black residents that would pay them each $5million, promise them $97,000 salaries and wipe away personal debt. Ronen, 47, is a Berkley Law graduate who owns a $2.4million home with her public defender husband. She says she 'can't wait' to get to work implementing the...

It was 2022 when the activist pair were indicted on 18 counts in connection to alleged schemes to scam Violence in Boston, its donors, the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance, and a Chicago mortgage lending business. A college professor has argued that black workers should get paid time off when someone in the black community is tragically killed, even if they have no direct connection to them. Dr Angel Jones, who teaches at Southern Illinois University, argued that black teachers ought to be eligible for 'black bereavement leave' because the grief process for the community in the wake of public tragedy can be tough. The professor said she recently burst into tears when she had to email her students in the wake of Tyre Nichols' death - who was beaten to death in Memphis, allegedly at...

Among the 10 people who will decide whether to pay members of Boston's black community are two high schoolers and one college student. High school juniors Damani Williams and Denilson Fanfan, as well as 22-year-old University of Massachusetts student and Black Lives Matter organizer Carrie Mays, were named to the city's reparations task force on Tuesday.... The proposal has already sparked debate about whether monetary reparations should be paid exclusively to black Americans descended from slaves, WGHB reports, or whether it should include black immigrants who may have still suffered impacts of so-called systemic racism..... ...In announcing the members of...

Some New York lawmakers are renewing the push for a state law that would lay the groundwork to pay reparations to black residents whose ancestors were enslaved. Proponents gained steam after a task force in California last week recommended that the Golden State shell out $569 million in reparations to slaves’ descendents there, or $223,200 apiece, because of lingering housing discrimination practices.

A reparations committee in California has suggested that descendants of slaves in the state should be compensated $223,200 each for 'housing discrimination'. The nine-member Reparations Task Force was formed by California Governor Gavin Newsom as part of the country's largest ever effort to address reparations for slavery. A focus of the California task force has been 'housing discrimination' - it has estimated the 2.5 million Black Californians require compensation of around $569billion, according to the New York Times.

The mother of George Floyd’s daughter has reportedly announced a $250 million lawsuit against Kanye West, claiming the billionaire rapper and fashion mogul’s recent comments in which he seemed to attribute Floyd’s death to fentanyl and not police brutality have “retraumatized” her daughter. Roxie Washington’s lawyers allege West’s comments constitute “harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress,” according to a letter obtained by Yahoo Entertainment. It remains unclear how West’s remarks are defamatory since the dead cannot be defamed under the law. “The interests of the child are priority. George Floyd’s daughter is being retraumatized by Kanye West’s comments...

The artist formerly known as Kanye West could face a lawsuit from the family of George Floyd for spreading the incorrect and unproven narrative that he died of a drug overdose during his wildly controversial Drink Champs podcast appearance. LOS ANGELES - The leader of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation has been accused by former colleagues of stealing more than $10 million in donations from the organization for his own personal use, according to a lawsuit filed in court this week. Shalomyah Bowers was called out in the court filing as a “rogue administrator, a middle man turned usurper” who syphoned contributions to the nonprofit activist group to use as his own “personal piggy bank,” according to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Thursday. “His actions have lead (sic) (Black Lives Matter Global...

BOSTON (AP) — A Connecticut woman who says she’s descended from slaves who are portrayed in widely published, historical photos owned by Harvard University can sue the school for emotional distress, Massachusetts’ highest court ruled Thursday. The state’s Supreme Judicial Court partly vacated a lower court ruling that dismissed a complaint from Tamara Lanier over photos she says depict her enslaved ancestors. The images are considered some of the earliest that show enslaved people in the U.S. The court concluded the Norwich resident and her family can plausibly make a case for suffering “negligent and indeed reckless infliction of emotional...

Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors admitted this week that she used the group’s $6 million property to host personal parties, igniting further suspicions of BLM leaders misusing funds for personal gain. Cullors made the admission in an interview with the AP, in which she denied overt wrongdoing when it came to the mountain of funds the group received after the George Floyd protests in 2020. While she admitted that the group was ill-prepared to handle the wave of funds, leaders ultimately purchased a $6 million compound in Los Angles, which has continued to spark criticism:
