Congressional negotiators in Washingon, D.C. reached a tentative agreement which would avoid another government shutdown Monday night. But those plans have not been solidified yet. Current IRS employee and formerly-furloughed federal worker Mary Peterson was impacted during the 35-day government shutdown.
